I had to share because I love how she turned out. Just added to my Etsy store this week 😊
I don‘t keep my books very long after I read them. So I don‘t have copies of old favorites to show that I haven‘t shown 1000x before. So instead I will show you my #oldfavorite dragon that I have had for over 20 years that watches over all my books. Someplace Wicket (who is at least 30) is also standing guard.
The two books on the left are what Maya took with her to camp. The pile on the right are all the books & comics she was sent by her grandparents and us.
Only one other kid in her cabin had a book, for a TWO week sleepaway camp! 😮 Whereas my kid read all of these multiple times! And thankfully, despite lots of rain at pick up today, only Maleficent seems to have succumbed to severe water damage. 🎉

LOL. I can get behind this. I picked the faerie realm, who else is joining me there?
I was feeling a little villainous yesterday so I decided show off some of my favorite villain merch! The amazing bookmark and villains pin came in last month's #enchantedfandombox and I'm kind of in love! ***Are more #teamvillains or #teamheroes ??? ** #qotd
On a completely unrelated note, we took our boys to their first sporting event and they had so much fun!!
Go #detroitcityfootballclub !!! #dcfc #detroitcityfc
Again, this very often read more as a middle-grade (or even younger, if not for the fact that it could sometimes be frightening for small children) novelization than YA, but overall, it's still a pick, because Rudnick's gift for description is considerable, and the reimagining of Maleficent is brilliant. Time for a movie night. #maleficent #disney #elizabethrudnick
#herebedragons Sleeping Beauty has always been one of my favorite Disney movies and I absolutely loved Maleficent. And I loved that she could become a dragon! Picked this plush dragon up at Disneyland last December during their 60th anniversary celebration. #sheismydarkside #disneydragons
I am so damned ashamed of myself for not initially thinking of Maleficent as one of my favorite villains. She was so mad at being pushed to the side and discarded that she cursed a baby. I liked this book but I would love to see another, darker retelling of her history. Maleficent whose name even means causing or capable of causing harm or mischief. Yep. Definitely one of my #favoritevillains #septemberphotochallenge #madatmyself
Spoiler Alert: Maleficent is one of my favorite all time villains! So I loved this. It gave her a life. It wasn't perfect. I would have loved it to be darker but it's Disney so... Regardless the book itself is gorgeous and I read this is in no time.
