Reading has been slow going this weekend due to the new Pokemon game coming out and soaking up all my time! 😂 But! I did start a reread of this one, in anticipation of finally getting around to finishing the series! I forgot how much I love Maniscalo's writing style! 💕📚💕 #catsoflitsy #rumpel
This was a really good read and second in the series. I liked how atmospheric it is. The plot was interesting and this is great for #Scarathlon word search for #TeamSlaughter. 4* 16pts.

Following the previous “Stalking Jack the Ripper”, “Hunting Prince Dracula” exceeded my expectations and more. The aftermath of Jack the Ripper‘s rampage and its outcome was well written as it showed Audrey Rose overcome the trauma she experienced. In addition, the character development was great, and the romance and witty banter was everything that you could ask for. Now for the third book in the series!

I think I enjoyed Thomas even more in this book than I did in the last book. I liked that Audrey Rose was less focused on her white-passing looks and more focused on the adventure she was having. I loved the dark academia vibes I got from this book. Overall, it was a nice time!
I love a good historical, fictional romance set against murder and mystery. I love this series, it's a mystery but it's not too dark and disturbing, nor confusing. The answers are sometimes obvious but it doesn't lessen how fun the story is
This second book is just as delightfully spooky and page-turning as the first. Audrey Rose and Thomas are at school competing for their places as forensic students. Of course bodies start to show up, drained of blood, and the locals are terrified of the legends of Prince Dracula. AR and Thomas caught The Ripper, can they stop Dracula? #YA

Ending my exercise week with an early morning stroll. #audiowalk #libby #litsywalkers
Doubled up on my #audioexercise today! My #audiowalk was super early and a few hours later I got in some #audioelliptical. And now I can read and relax with a clean conscience.

Yay for another adventure to escape into!
The interaction between Audrey Tose and Thomas are amazing the book is great
Yesterday I finished rereading it and is still a 5 stars for me, I can say the same right at the moment that the other books of the series are five stars aswell for me, excepting for the last book, that I haven't read it yet.
I thoroughly enjoyed this one for the first two thirds of the book. But if I read the next, I'm not sure I can listen. Every time Audrey Rose freaks out because of something that goes bump in the night, it turns out to be nothing. When she assumes it's nothing, it's something. I did love the way this ended. Will take a break before grabbing the sequel.
1. Hunting Prince Dracula AND IfI Tell You the Truth
2. I don't use Goodreads. Have you heard of thestorygraph.com?
3. Leave the World Behind
A Good Girl's Guide to Murder
The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
"Our train gnashed its way along frozen tracks toward the white-capped fangs of the Carpathian Mountains."
"The world is neither kind nor is it cruel. It simply exists. We have the ability to view it however we choose." Thomas Cresswell, Pg.22
Started reading this Gem after putting it off for so long, dare I say the sequel is better than the first...
My boyfriend bought me a new kindle paper white for Christmas and the first Audio book I listened to via bluetooth was Hunting Prince Dracula. It was difficult to get into, but it kept me intrigued once I got about half way through. Jack the Ripper was a little better to listen to but I would still recommend both 🦇 💜
Really enjoying this series. I love the relationship between Audrey Rose and Thomas.
I'm in the minority here, but I really did not like this one. I felt the same as the first, a lot of blah blah about her life and not enough actual hunting! Plus her character is just really toxic, in many parts she puts down Thomas for no reason. I love Thomas as a character and he honestly deserves way better than her. I just did not care about the book at all disappointing.

Day 2 of #Scarathlon2020 #TeamSlaughter gaining points by watching movies while I‘m not reading. Tonight‘s movie is Boo: Madea 😂 @Clwojick
Happy 1st of October!! Today starts the #Scarathon2020 & to kick it off for my team #TeamSlaughter I‘m reading Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalo 🦇🖤❤️🎃
A man impaled by a sharp wooden stake.
A young chambermaid drained of her blood.
They say it‘s Prince Dracula, arisen from the dead.
I say it‘s the living —— not the dead —— we should fear the most

I finished it!😭🙌🏼 This book was pretty good. The beginning was kinda slow and I WAS able to predict who the villain is, unlike in the the first one 😕. But there was still some surprising twists and really good character development. I would totally recommend this if you want a fun and simple fantasy/mystery read. And I‘ll definitely be getting the next book in the series 😂👌🏼 #review #huntingprincedracula #totallyrecommended
I finished the first book of this series last month and now I‘m FINALLY getting around to starting the second book! 🙌🏼Does anyone have any techniques they use to get out of a reading slump? It‘s probably been my worst reading year, and I just can‘t seem to shake it 😭😭 #readingslump
As a girl who is obsessed with Dracula and vampires in general, I very much enjoyed this book. It was a great addition to the Stalking Jack the Ripper series. I love the adventures that Audrey Rose and Thomas have together and I personally have a huge book crush on Thomas, so I may be a bit bias. Highly recommend!!
May wrap up!
I read tons of great books this month! Here's to next month!
I loved this one just as much as the second! The plot was so well thought out and the characters continued to develop and grow as people. I loved the relationship between Audrey Rose and Thomas 😍 I cannot wait to read the 3rd one in this series. This series is definitely one of my favourites!
Ahh Audrey Rose and Thomas are my sort of people! 😍
Looking forward to starting this one! I cant wait to see what adventures Audrey and Thomas get up to in this one 😍

Fun but not as good as the first one. I am still in love with Thomas Cresswell.
I enjoyed book one in this series for the most part, but found both the main characters pretty annoying and Jack the Ripper stories dont do much for me. I downloaded this on a whim the other day and ended up liking it considerably more than the first. The setting and mystery were fun, and the characters were much improved for me.
Toby and I had different plans for how the night would go... clearly I had to adjust and it became a "cuddle the cat and listen to an audiobook" kind of night
Enjoying an #audiocrochet night - I just bought a ton of yarn, so I‘m impatient to finish this blanket. I‘m going to be drowning in crocheted blankets before we get through this pandemic
There some parts that were very heavy on the romance between Audrey and Thomas. But the whole mystery and story line was really well done.
I finally picked up Hunting Prince Dracula and I am glad I did. I read Stalking Jack the Ripper but had problems with it. Audrey Rose and Thomas had major character growth in this one. The mystery was also more complex. Set in Dracula‘s castle in Romania it has a very wintery atmosphere that is perfect for this time of year.
