It‘s here 🤩
So I didn‘t like The Girls at all I felt it was overall very meh, but I enjoyed Daddy. And I‘ve heard some good buzz about this so I‘ll give it a shot.
It‘s here, it‘s beautiful, I have to finish my current read before I can start it 😭
1. Ninth House and Hell Bent were my favorite reads of the month! 🐍🐇
2. Heading home for a family birthday 🥳,then of course St Patrick‘s Celebrations 🍀🍻, and then heading to Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand for our honeymoon 😍!
Man #botm was being finicky today! But finally got my order in! Cannot wait for this months books! Full disclosure I already had preordered The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi and my copy arrives tomorrow! Kaikeyi was recommended by multiple people and since I‘m going on my honeymoon end of month I decided to get some travel reading!
I am a sucker for any Hollywood history books and boy this is a deep dive. Starting with the formation of the Academy up to “the slap” this seems right up my alley.
1. I usually read one or two fiction books and one nonfiction book at at time.
2. The Measure was a book as soon as I finished I told every person I know to read! A book I bailed on was When We Were Bright and Beautiful just was not interesting enough for me. Meh.
Well it‘s been a whirlwind! Just got back from a week back home because I got married!!!!! And now back here in California slowly preparing to move in a month! So much going on I don‘t know how I‘ll make time to read but I‘m trying! (Any good book recs for/based in Nashville/Tennessee I‘m planning to read about my new home!)
This book should be required reading. Along with the documentary called The Janes on HBOMax. I am devastated and still trying to come to terms with what has happened and where we go from here
It is in the high 80s with a wonderful breeze and not a cloud in the sky. Feeling more positive today and just continuing on with my life one step at a time.
Sorry I‘ve been gone for awhile. Our lives are so unbelievably busy and then I got laid off from my job so I just needed some time for healing and a full mind reset. I‘ve spent the time reading and working out and meditating and trying to write. Now begins another arduous search for a job (hoping for a WFH since we might also move this year!) so busy but I‘ll try to be more present here. I missed all you Littens!
Wow this is amazing! 🤯 Definitely something to read and reread and discuss! Also wow I really love Zadie Smith I guess, I remember reading Swing Time and not enjoying it but I‘m interested in reading her nonfiction now after reading this.
