I found a first edition to add to my collection 😍😍

My little book haul today. I‘m so excited to change my classics over to hardbacks, even though it has been a search to find them.

I had to make myself finish it. There is no reason 75 pages should have taken me as long as it did. I‘m not 100% sure why this story was deemed so scary back in the day. It didn‘t spook me at all, but maybe I‘m just insensitive. I love the basis of the story, naturally, but I felt like it could have been elaborated. The story had potential to really be a great mystery. Stevenson wrote beautifully, but there seemed to be quite a bit of fluffer.

I am back after taking time to clear my eyes of politics. My new year‘s resolution is to get back to reading and posting regularly. Today‘s book is a classic.

This book. I could not put it down. I experienced so many emotions while reading this book. There is a slow burn in the beginning, then the end spirals into a tornado of murder, infidelity, and sexy police officers. If you haven‘t read this, you are definitely missing out.

Figured I would pick a quick read to change things up a little bit.

The emotions that are running through me. When a books makes me feel like what I read is actually happening in real life, you know it is a damn good book. I experienced rage, sadness, happiness, and more. All from reading a book. There was a slow burn to the story, but when it peaked, it just continued to climb. I‘m blown away by the ending. This is definitely a must read. Feyre Darling has my heart, for sure

Very captivating. It was a little confusing at the beginning because I was slow to recognize each chapter changed points of view. I did guess the murderer halfway or so through, but I didn‘t want to put it down. It was well written, and I will definitely be buying more books in the series. I definitely recommend. The details aren‘t for the faint at heart, and there are possible triggers for some people.

So, I will turn 30 Saturday. I‘m not happy, but I‘m going to make the best of it. I‘m trying to decide what to read to cheer me up. Should I read a comedy, murder mystery, or an Ann Rule book?

This was a fun read. It started out slow for me, and then it leveled out. At the end, it went rather quickly as if she was trying to hurry through it. Her writing improved through the book tremendously, though. I predicted some of it, but some left me surprised. I read it pretty quickly. I enjoyed the story, and can‘t wait for the second one to come out. I would recommend if you are looking for an exciting fast read.

#lootcrate did not disappoint. There was a delay in delivery, but well worth the wait. It can with an amazing glow in the dark womping willow shirt that reveals the mauderers in the dark. The I am Lord Voldemort magnets are very thick and nice. The hidden Grimmauld Place tote is so cool! The coasters from the Blind Pig are amazing, and so is the Ariana secret compartment picture frame. Of course, the pin is amazing quality, too. Great job!

I need an amazing book that will captivate me, make me not want to put it down, and take me on an adventure. Any suggestions? My favorite series of all time is Harry Potter. I love fantasy, fiction, and murder mysteries. I‘m open to anything. (I am not a fan of romance though.)
