Irish Stewed
Irish Stewed | Kylie Logan

After flopping as a personal chef to a Hollywood movie star, jobless Laurel Inwood finds herself humbled in Hubbard, Ohio, helping her aunt Sophie run her restaurant. Much to Laurel's dismay, Sophie's Terminal at the Tracks is not the cozy bistro her aunt would have had her believe - it's a run-down greasy spoon in an old railroad station. To save the dingy diner, Laurel cooks up a plan to feature alternating ethnic cuisine as specials. But first there's the problem of the body in the booth. Slumped over a table with a receipt spike in his back is Jack Lancer - 'the Lance of Justice' - an investigative reporter for local TV news. Assisted by the drop-dead gorgeous owner of the neighboring Irish store - who may or may not be a suspect - Laurel sets out to track down a killer who had no reservations about impaling a newshound. But as she turns up the heat, will she end up in the soup herself? Includes recipes! Praise for the League of Literary Ladies mysteries 'Logan has fun with this unusual story, intimate setting, and feisty characters, and readers will, too.' Richmond Times-Dispatch 'What could be more fun than a mystery series that is about a reluctant book club? I love how the mysteries run parallel to the book the League of Literary Ladies is reading.' MyShelf.com 'One of my favorite cozy mystery writers . . . What great characters Kylie Logan has created.' Fresh Fiction

When you need to return a book to the library but also want to go for a run. Best running sweater ever! Also, didn‘t realize Juno photobombed me lol.

Fun start to this #cozymystery series. I was pleasantly surprised by the main character as I expected her to be snooty. Love the Irish flavor of this culinary mystery!

I adore Kylie Logan and all her book series. This book was so damn good, and the recipe for Irish Stew at the end was damn delicious! Ethnic eats, murder, sexy Irish lawyer who owns an Irish gift shop right across the street, and lots of spunk for the heroine of the story (literally she's awesome). 5/5 stars #cozymystery
