It‘s mystery time with Casey! I agree with those who‘ve said this second Bangalore Detectives Club outing doesn‘t have quite the same energy as the first, but I‘m still enjoying my time with Kaveri. She‘s a great sleuth to hang out with.

This was #24 in the China Bayles series, but the first one I‘ve read. The author did a good job of filling in pertinent past information, so I never felt lost. I enjoyed the mystery, and the bits-and-pieces way clues were revealed. I will read more of this series. Set in April in the beautiful Texas Hill Country, this was a last-minute substitution for #SeasonalCozies. Hoopla snatched my original choice back after I‘d only read 2 chapters! 🙃

Stopped at a library I don‘t usually go to and they have a puzzle swap. This is such a cool idea. I hope it catches on with some of the other branches 🥰🧩
This book was written in the 60‘s and you can tell, but it was still a lot of fun.
I‘m enjoying this. Cozy English mystery, where the dog‘s thoughts are part of the narration. He‘s a failed police dog named Rex Harrison who is not terribly obedient 😂 His owner is a retired police detective who gets involved in solving crimes. I have a Shepherd mix named Carter whose thought process reminds me a lot of Rex. Smart, with a mind of his own. 😉 He enjoys taking up 2/3 of our couch. Shown with Lilly, our beagle/pit mix.
I have been a fan of the Lucy Stone books for awhile now, but this is my first time reviewing them. I think it started out with a great amount of intrigue and hooked me immediately. The constant attention to detail is what makes this book click. As an Irish descendant I enjoyed the pieces of Irish culture and legends…

Make a great day everyone - 🙂
I‘ve finally admitted to myself that I‘m never going to read all of the books I‘ve bought; so many are currently just languishing (and taking up A LOT of space) in my house, and I‘d love to see them find homes that will give them the love they deserve. I‘ve set up a PangoBooks storefront to try to rehome them, and prices are suggested by the platform as fair used-book market value. Link in comments!
