Still have to get to Dr. Sleep though! @CindyMyLifeIsLit You're going to hate the rest of the stuff I bought 😂😂 Honestly, though, I have a feeling I'm going to set it up and then start avoiding it because it's too creepy 😂 4y

The Roosevelt family kept 8000 books at Sagamore Hill and Teddy Roosevelt read 1 to 3 books a day! A DAY! He was a speed reader and had a photographic memory! 😍 #MyHero

My Hero: Extraordinary People on the Heroes Who Inspire Them | The My Hero Project

Discussing what gift cards/bonuses I got at work, I mentioned a $50 Amazon card from a (soon to be former) colleague. My husband got very pale. It seems he had tossed the Christmas card from this person. (He‘s one of the main reasons I‘m happy to be leaving this job.) But my hero went out to the street, in the dark, and rescued my gift card. (I may not like the attorney, but I‘ll spend his money. 😆) #myhero

teebe That's an awesome idea. Btw, for Littens that like this idea, there's plenty of charities that accept donations of books for prisoners. Liberation Library specifically provides books to youth in prison. 7y

TheBookHippie I needed and entire Kleenex box reading it!!! Such hope. Chicago books for women in prison does wonderful things as well! Chicago Lights too. Thanks for the Liberation Library lead as well!!! @teebe @merelybookish 7y

#myhero is my dad, Jim. I was 22 when I found out he was not my biological father. From him, I have never felt loved as anything less than his son. I would later find out the sperm donor lived 2 blocks away our whole lives and people would ask if I wanted to meet him. I always say I know who my father is. Jim, when he found out I was in the low reading group in 1st grade, wouldn't let me go outside before we did word flash cards. He's my dad.
