It‘s official!! I interviewed for a high-school librarian position back in October and was offered the job, then told by HR that I couldn‘t leave my English classroom and would have to wait until next school year. The principal is a woman of her word and held the position for me despite the inconvenience for her own campus. Just got the email today that I‘m officially a librarian!! I‘m going to have so much time to READ!! ❤️ #LibrariansofLitsy

A great “what if”….what if you could travel through time by entering a book. Emme is surprised to learn she can. 2 love stories involving Emme, with me voting for the historical one.

“The waves lapped upon the shore as Gram and I Collected seashells.”….I don‘t know why, but I loved this opening. I hope the book keeps its promise of interest.

Call me a sucker for books about books but I loved following Emme through her discovery of her hidden gift. Time traveling through books to record important moments of history? Yes freaking please. I have a ton of questions about why haha that are completely irrelevant to the story but that I hope the next two books will answer.

Litsy librarians, please reassure me! I‘m having my first interview for a high school librarian position today. I‘m being interviewed by the school principal and the director of instruction. I‘ve been preparing, but am afraid that I will overlook something. Does anyone have words of wisdom about what really worked for them in their interviews? 😰

Thanks to my beautiful fiancé I am able to post her #libraryshelfies for #libraryshelfieday . She is an elementary school librarian.

My library is closed for a week and a half to install new carpet and a new circulation desk. So I'm taking the week off. Staycation through Wednesday (lots of reading!) and then I'm going to go visit family for the last half of the week.

🥳 🙌🏽 This coming school year I‘ll be a librarian‘s assistant/para at 2 middle schools. Half of the week I‘ll be at one school and the other half at the other! I‘ll be working in a library you guys!!!! 🙌🏽 🥳
I had the interview last week and the principal just called me today. I‘m over the moon. It‘s amazing, I‘ll be able to work with books, kids, and I‘ll be helping kids find books! 😁 💃🏽 #LibrariansofLitsy

I am still trying to figure out all my feelings for this book. It had an amazing premise and I loved all the characters in it. It reminded me a little bit of an old Hallmark movie I love called The Love Letter, although it is different from that, it has the same feel to it.
