The book starts out heavy on the snark, which I always appreciate. I love how much the characters evolve throughout this series and the author always drops little surprises along the way. The series was gripping and the world building original. I will be re-reading these books again the way I revisit Harry Potter.
Ronan is by far the most intriguing character and I am happy the new series will feature him.
I loved this series! Maggie Stiefvater has created a fantastic world around Henrietta, Virginia. Dreams were unmade, wasp demons were jerks, and true love died. Everything you could ever want in a good story! 😁
Will Patten did a fantastic job narrating this series. His voices for Calla and Persephone were the best!
this weekend I told myself that i would finish my reread of this series. i was a bit worried that i would eventually be like, “meh i know this story” and lose interest bUT!! that!! didn‘t!! happen!!
successfully read half of one book and three full books in two days. wowza.
i have so much love for this series
"What a strange constellation they all were."
I really enjoyed this series. The realistic relationships mired in fantastical situations. Genuinely likable characters, 3 dimensional 'bad guys' one of which became one of my favourite characters ?
The description in every book is incredible too, really adds depth and grounding to a mystical tale of Kings and Dreams and Magic.
Oh, happy and sad. This book was everything I wanted and more, and I‘m so glad I waited to read it when I could binge everything. I‘m so excited for the next book and the return of Ronan and Adam (and maybe some Gansey, Blue, and Henry?). There are some questions that still aren‘t answered, but I‘m hoping that just means more books. The ending did not disappoint, and this is now one of my favorite series of all times.
I am going through #booked2019 so slow 😂 but this is what I had in mind for the prompt on happy place mainly because I love this series so much although I don‘t love this book as much as the rest I was dying to get into this one for the amazing characters but scared of anything bad happening to them. Also I read the first book in Devon and now associate the whole series with it @Cinfhen @BarbaraTheBibliophage @4thhouseontheleft
I‘ve been putting this one off for a while now so i could finish my dissertation and fully enjoy it now I have I‘m excited to finally get into this one. Fingers crossed it‘s a good end to the series 🤞 😬
In honour of #ValentinesDay I like to post a fave romantic scene. Last year I used Dorothy Sayers‘ “Placet” scene, the culmination of a three book slow burn. *contented sigh*
This year it‘s the more youthful passion of one of Stiefvater‘s Raven Boys. One touch of the hand, and the ocean of emotions is on fire. *wistful sigh*
Names are redacted because SPOILERS!

A great ending to a great series. There were some unexpected twists and turns in this book but the end was all I hoped for. I loved how the characters changed and evolved throughout the whole series, how they discovered thuths about themselves they felt deep down but didn't want to acknowledge for a long time. Can't wait to re-read this in the future!
This book was Helter Skelter with an anticlimactic ending. I thought I was the only one who felt that it was all over the place and lacked the epic ending I was expecting when I checked the ratings for this book on Litsy and GR. Then I start reading the reviews and realized everyone else felt the same. I still like the author's writing style, but it wasn't enough for me to give this book a Pick. 3.5⭐'s
Did I just stop reading to YouTube Billy Ocean?
Yes, yes I did. Who's an 80's kid? 🙋🤷💯
This sinus infection is not conducive to reading. I sleep SOOOO much at night now. 🤣🤣🤣 I haven't been able to stay up past 9:30 consistently in 2 weeks. I have 16 hours to read the 2nd half of this book and a week to read 6 others before they're due. #jesusfixit
1) 27 going up to 44 today. I really can‘t complain about weather in Santa Fe.
2) mid 70s with no humidity
3) 78, we live in an adobe house with OLD windows so it gets a bit chilly inside. Bedroom typically about 68 even with thermo set this high.
4) Probably winter cause my reading stats are pretty high then
5) No fave winter reading. Tagged book is current read which I should finish tonight.
A fantastic end to an amazing story 💙!
When your whiskey and your book match 😜. There‘s a sign in there somewhere.
I‘m only a few chapters away from the end and this series has officially taken the #2 spot of my favorite series of all time.
“But it wasn‘t that Henry was less of himself in English. He was less of himself out loud. His native language was thought.”
Gotta love Maggie‘s writing.
This series had so much potential, but I feel like there were gaps throughout especially when it came to the relationships between the characters. Really would have seen more from Blue and Gansey and Ronan and Adam. Don‘t get me wrong, I enjoyed it. The author has a wonderful talent for words. I guess my expectations were higher because I‘ve already read Shiver series before this one.
*sigh* So, so good! I'm going to miss all these characters. I can't even talk about my feelings specifically, because it might lead to too many spoilers. I'll just say that I'm satisfied with how it concluded.
I just saw on Goodreads that there might be a Ronan-centred trilogy in the works?! I'm all in for that. I think I would miss him most if it was the final end. #RavenCycle #Book4
Stayed up late to finish this one last night. I really enjoyed this one. Truths really come out. One complaint is the introduction of the character Henry. I did not feel he was necessary nor did he add to the story. With that said, I really enjoyed this series and I loved the ending. On to the next book!
So... what did you do today? This is all I did, and I don‘t even feel bad about it. 🤷🏻♀️
I will miss these characters and this magical story. Such a great series, and completely different from any other YA fantasy I have read. I loved every minute of my time in Henrietta and Cabeswater. ❤️
5⭐'s. I love love love this book!!! This is such a great series and I have no idea why it took me so long to read them but I'm glad I did. I'm sad it's over though.
I can‘t believe this series is over! Every second of it was so amazing/strange/wonderful that I want revisit Henrietta over and over again. Maggie‘s writing was incredibly detailed and lyrical that came together in an epic story. I can‘t say enough amazing things about this series and Raven King wrapped this series up into a beautiful ending. 5/5⭐️
