This was a fast sci fi romance. It moved very quickly and made the connection between Ava and Xelan feel not genuine. Their connection appeared way too fast. It was a sexy erotic read though and was enjoyable.

This was one of my favorite books this year. From the first chapter I could not put this book down. The setting, the characters, and the plot were beyond enticing. Raina does not speak and uses a version of sign language throughout the book, which was so refreshing to read. She was such an awesome protagonist and really a breath of fresh air. Alexus was enticing and fun to read. I loved the sisterly bond between Raina and Nephele too.

Leo and Isabella are a perfect match. The setting in snowy Colorado really helps set the tone. This story hooked me from the first chapter. I also love the varying perspectives between Leo and Isabella. I loved the tension, adorable moments and sass thrown back and forth between Leo and Isabella. I‘d highly recommend this for a cute holiday romance read! This book is now available to purchase too!

This book was so sweet my teeth hurt. There was really no drama or any problems between Reese and Benny. The conflict took a back seat. It felt unrealistic but it was a cute fast paced romance. Benny felt slightly obsessed with Reese for there too be so little build up to their relationship. The social media drama was basically ignored as was the feminism aspect. It wasn‘t even friends to lovers. It was more coworkers to lovers.

This was such a fun and exciting read. I loved this take on vampires, a vampire plague and Versailles France. Daphne was a headstrong kickass character and I loved her growth throughout. Etienne was everything a French vampire should be. This was a fast paced slow build romance. It felt genuine and not forced. I loved Charlotte and cannot wait for her next installment. This was such an entertaining supernatural romance! I‘d highly recommend.

This was a really fun and entertaining romantic suspense survival book. I loved the rough survival plot line and the very interesting background of the main characters. Elias was easily my favorite character aside from his dog. I thought Leo was very relatable and that their connection was genuine and felt real.

This was a cute romance. It was predictable. The only thing I did not like is the silly games that Olivia and Thad played once they acknowledged their feelings. It felt unnatural. Also the way Olivia accused Thad of something without facts or considering the source was not a great plot line.

I finished this book but it was mostly a miss for me. Both Georgie and Travis were incredibly flawed as characters. Travis was way too alpha male and the fact that he said baby girl more than her name drove me insane. Georgie wanted to be treated like an adult but acted like a literal and hypothetical clown. I felt no chemistry between them other than the amount of times we were told Georgie was obsessed with him.

CarolynM I seriously did not like this either, for all the reasons you give. 3y

I thoroughly enjoyed this romcom. I could not put it down. I loved the attention to mental illness and the acceptance that the right partner will provide. I also loved the parallels to a real life reality show and how it humanized the behind the scenes talent. I loved Dev‘s quirkiness and Charlie‘s awkwardness. It felt genuine and sweet. Highly recommend.

I finally got a chance to read this new Alice Feeney book. I was not disappointed. I love the alternating narrators and the narration of the letter writing. It provides a unique perspective on the events. Feeney‘s writing takes the reader through a bunch of different scenarios. I didn‘t figure out the ending until it was too late. I really enjoyed the mystery and intrigue behind the plot. This book did not disappoint.

I enjoyed this cute romance. I didn‘t feel as much of a connection to the characters or even between the characters. I felt the dilemma was too underwritten. The arguments felt forced and the resolutions didn‘t feel sufficient. Overall, it was a cute romcom read, but definitely not a favorite of mine.

Thank you to Netgalley for this ARC! This book came as a complete surprise. It was hands down one of my favorite fantasy romances this year. I loved Margrete and her sure-fire attitude. She achieved such character growth by the end of the book. Bash took a while for me to like (mostly because I can‘t stand his name). Overall, this enemies to lovers romance was incredibly difficult to put down.

Hands down one of my favorite romances of the year. I am biased because I‘m a huge Reylo fanfic fan, but even without that background this one was so sweet and sexy. I loved both characters and actually would‘ve loved to have Adam have some of his own chapters to see from his point of view. Overall, could not put it down. I finished it in a day.

So I read this series backward since I read Hook, Line & Sinker first. I have to say I loved this first installment more. I appreciated the characters more and felt the genuine connection that played out into the second installment in more depth. It‘s a quick romance and a fun read. It gets a little dirty, but nothing to extend to erotica. It was such a fun, cute read!

I received a copy of this from Netgalley!

I absolutely loved this romance! It was everything I needed out of a romance novel. I loved Fox and Hannah. Their friendship and connection felt genuine and I found myself rooting for them from the start. The self reflection by each character was great to read and pushed the plot forward. I finished this book in about two days because I couldn‘t stop reading it! I‘d highly recommend it!

I definitely enjoyed this enemies to lovers trope read. My only dislike was how obsessed with each other Kara and Ryan were and how parts of their relationship did not seem genuine at all. I was disappointed with the plot line about halfway through and the ending felt a little lackluster to me, but overall a fun quick beach read with plenty of funny banter.

What an absolutely stunning set of poems! Talk about female empowerment. Amanda Lovelace is such an excellent writer and her words really speak to me. These books should be mandatory for girls growing up to teach them self love, the importance of saying no, and that strength comes from within and not social media.

I enjoyed this fun summer read. I thought the plot points were predictable and the drama lacking, but overall was a thoughtless, fun, beach read. The characters were enjoyable and easy to like. It wasn‘t as good as the other books I‘ve read by this author, but definitely an enjoyable quick read.

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the siblings and their individual personalities. I felt as if their storylines for lost in the second half of the book when a variety of random characters were introduced for almost no reason. I enjoyed the past and present stories. The ending felt cyclical and was enjoyable. The middle of the story just felt lost.

This was a quick smutty read. I love the fallen angel troop, but I also felt that the characters personalities switched up way too quick. Both characters adapted way too quickly to the circumstances given their personalities and characterizations. Still a fun read.

Such a quick and refreshing read. I loved every bit of this romance novel. It was nerdy and cute in all good ways. I genuinely felt the connection between River and Jess. I loved the addition of Juno. It really felt wholesome to read.

I definitely enjoyed this brand new thriller by Riley Sager. He is one of my favorite authors to read. While the story plot was different and original, I felt disconnected from Charlie. It seemed as if every action she took was more stupid than the next. I started siding with the antagonist until about 75% through. Overall, the ending was predictable in the sense of wrapping the story up, but also had surprising elements that I loved.

So I thought this book was overall very cute. I‘m not always a fan of road trip romances, especially because the circumstances around this road trip were very flimsy and unbelievable. I did enjoy Conrad and Alden, but I never felt any animosity between them as we were intended to feel. I loved the gaming background and convention concept but felt it wasn‘t explored as well as it could have been. It was a fun, cute beach read though.

While I liked the plot line of this book, the story felt rushed and the connections between Sid and Aspen felt forced. All of a sudden they were in love without any real meaning behind it. I‘m going to give the next book a chance to see if the characters actually develop or not.

Grace and Glory | Jennifer L. Armentrout

I loved this series. I felt the characters remained authentic until the end. My only complaint was that this book built up to a final battle that was over in three pages of a chapter. It seemed completely insignificant to the plot and I wish there was more detail since the prior books had good battle scenes. Overall, a satisfying closure to the trilogy.

This was such a cutesy and fun romance. While it did require some suspension of disbelief to have everything in their relationship work out perfectly especially given their circumstances, it was a really fun read. I loved Alex and Henry‘s different personalities and felt the connection between them. It was a perfect read for pride month and the Fourth of July holiday.

Absolutely loved loved loved this beach read! The connection between Poppy and Alex came across as genuine and realistic. They were polar opposites and I could relate to both of them in some way. This is one of the only beach reads that made me want to shout about how perfect they are together! It was so cute and genuinely heartwarming.

My expectations were way too high for this one. In my opinion, Reese‘s Book Club picks have been hit or miss and this was more of a miss. I found the book cover and descriptions to be gorgeous. By the middle of the book, I was intrigued. The ending fell way too flat for me. The reasoning did not justify the brutality of the murders. It felt rushed and forced. The epilogue left me beyond confused. It was only fair in my opinion.

Happy Pride Month!! I found this romance to be so cute and fun to read! I genuinely felt the bond between the two main characters. I LOVED Oliver‘s personality compared to Luc‘s. I did not catch a lot of the UK references, but it didn‘t matter! I can‘t wait for the next one! Such a fun read!

This was one of my highly anticipated summer reads! While I thoroughly enjoyed it, it was not to the suspense level of The Silent Patient. The beginning was slow and did not pick up until about three quarters of the way in. The ending was disappointing and felt rushed. I did love the characters and the development of the storyline. I also enjoyed the connection to The Silent Patient. Overall, it was hard to put down and a fun read!

I enjoyed this read, but it was a little too unrealistic and fast paced to be believable. I felt like Max did not grow as a character until the last chapter and that Olivia was more entertaining, but not completely developed. Their romance felt super forced too fast, but ultimately they had good chemistry. The writing style was fun and made for a cute story.

Could. not. put. down! I loved the book by Colleen Hoover. My only critique was that I wished we got more from Miles‘ perspective since he had trauma that was relatable. It did lack in drama, but I didn‘t actually need more drama to thoroughly enjoy and fall in love with the characters. It was a really great read! The cover design is also stunning.

A very quick and cute read. It didn‘t grab me as other romcom books have and maybe it was because it started with a suicide or had a lot of sailing lingo that I didn‘t care about. I also didn‘t feel any chemistry between the main couple. Overall, it was cute, but nothing great.

I ended up throughly enjoying this domestic thriller. At first, the multitude of perspectives kept throwing me off. It felt disjointed, but towards the middle of the book, it got much better and all started adding up. Some of the adding was a surprise, but some plot points were easy to put together. It had a decent ending and I‘d recommend it to a thriller lover.

Such a cute read! The dialogue was definitely better than I expected. I felt the chemistry between the two colleagues who went from fake exes to being in love. Very predictable but not in a bad way! I really enjoyed this book. The character development in the two opposing characters, Roma and Juliette, was really fun to read. I loved the setting. The descriptions of the antagonist were grotesque but also very easy to picture. This was a very dark plot line but also felt very different from normal fantasy books.
