This was a good read but my expectations being too high left me slightly disappointed (I expected to be terrified and wasn‘t). Still a pretty good read and definitely suspenseful!

This is such a great addition to this series! It was a slow build up that ended in an unexpectedly delightful way! I can‘t wait to pick up the 3rd book in this series soon!
Book #21 of 2020
My April reading was a bit slower than previous months but I finished the following:
Black Rock Bay by Brianna Labuskes
Sugar and Vice by Eve Calder
Tuesday‘s Gone by Nicci French
Cross Her Heart by Melinda Leigh
Watching From the Dark by Gytha Lodge
It ended up being a solid month quality wise even if I didn‘t read as many books as I usually do!
This was a fun addition this cozy mystery series. The books are easy to breeze through and I will be continuing on with the series!

Friday night reading and enjoying this beautiful weather!
Book mail is the best mail! My sincere thanks to @AmyG for sending me her copy of A Court of Thrones and Roses by Sarah J. Maas - I‘ve had this one on my TBR for a long time but I‘ve never had the opportunity to read it until now! The other books are courtesy of the publishers - my many thanks to them also!
Heartbreaking but hopeful I‘m the end. This is one of those books that will stick with me for awhile...

This was an atmospheric and creepy read. I loved that there was a sense of wrongness throughout the entire book! I‘m looking forward to seeing what this author comes up with next!

Book #9 of 2020
One last trip to the library before it closes for the next two weeks...
Decided to set my current read aside (too heavy emotionally) and am picking up the latest in one of my favorite mystery series instead!
My 1st five star read of 2020 - read this if you enjoyed Agatha Christie‘s And Then There Were None!
February reading:
The Third to Die by Allison Brennan (ebook)
In The Dark by Loreth Anne White
Egg Drop Dead by Vivien Chien (ebook)
The Shape of Family by Shilpi Somaya Gowda
The Return by Rachel Harrison
Thin Ice by Paige Shelton
Top reads were In The Dark and The Shape of Family but I enjoyed everything I read this month.
I‘m loving this series! I recommend starting with the 1st book but as all three books have been really solid mysteries it is worth the time. Highly recommended!
Thanks to the publisher for my free copy of this book!
A library haul which will end up being some of my March reading....
That feeling when one of your most anticipated reads for the year comes in at the library....I may just put everything else on hold and read this one now!
A rainy Saturday is the perfect day to curl up with a new mystery....
Just finished: The Craftsman by Sharon Bolton. It was quite the creepy read. Full thoughts to come on it.
Currently reading: The Devil‘s Daughter by Lisa Kleypas.
