I really liked this book. I was expecting it to be more of a thriller, but it did keep me guessing about what was going to happen. I didn‘t expect the ending to be what it was. Overall, I‘d give this book 4 stars because it was a pretty good book!

I‘m getting closer to being caught up with the Jack Murphy series! I finished The Darkest Night and I loved it! I‘m addicted to this series and the characters! I really hope that Rick Reed continues this series for quite a while. In this book, Jack‘s partner is accused of murder in his hometown and Jack quickly rushes to his side. They find themselves deep into voodoo during the case! I never saw the end coming and it shocked me!

This was a quick easy read. It‘s not my usual James Patterson read but it was an okay book. The town of Mt. Hope is in the midst of a nuclear emergency and the town is evacuated. When the residents are allowed to return they notice things do not seem right.

I normally read everything Patterson puts out so I had to pick this one up. It wasn‘t spectacular but it was a decent read.

This was such a sweet novel! Evvie Drake‘s husband is killed in a car accident and she must decide when and how to move on and start over. She encounters some personal obstacles along the way, but she never gives up. I enjoyed the story and it had such a good message about being afraid to start over and be happy and how to overcome that feeling. This was also Jenna Bush Hager‘s book club pick for July.

I love the Jack Murphy thrillers so much! This is the third in the series and it just keeps getting better! The novels can contain some gory material at times but it makes the story so much better in my opinion. I can‘t wait to read book four!

This book was such a wild ride! I loved every minute of it and while I was glad it was over, I was also a little sad. The show on AMC is totally different but I will continue to watch it because, in my opinion, the show and the book are both great by themselves. I might give some more Joe Hull books a shot after reading this one but I haven‘t decided yet. But, I seriously loved this book!

One of my favorite James Patterson series is the Women‘s Murder Club! I enjoy all the characters and their stories. This novel was more of a flashback to years ago with a very chilling case that was utterly heartbreaking. Now I‘m all caught up on this series and I‘m ready for the next one!

At first, you want to hate Diana, the mother in law, however as the book progresses you start to understand her. This was an excellent read and I never saw the twist coming!
