Run | Blake Crouch

Blake Crouch really knows how to write a pulse pounding edge of your seat thriller.

This is my second book by Crouch and it certainly won‘t be the last. This one literally takes off from the very beginning and didn‘t let up until the last page.

I love that I can be so easily transported into the story.

I definitely look forward to more of his novels. Thank you so much to the publisher for a copy via NetGalley!

YA thrillers are usually hit or miss with me. I did enjoy this one but I was expecting more of a jaw dropping twist. It did have me interested enough to keep reading. There were a few times when I thought I knew what was happening but I was wrong. I will read another book by this author because I have heard such good things and I did enjoy this book.

I devoured this book. It had everything I loved; age gap, forced proximity, grumpy sunshine, and found family.

Jamie and Calvin had so much chemistry from the very beginning and it drove me crazy in all the right ways. Both characters had loss and heartbreak in their lives and they really understood each other.

I can‘t wait to read the other books to come.

Thank you so much to the author and Valentine PR for the advance copy of this novel!

I‘ve read a few other books by John Grisham and really enjoyed them and this one was no different. I finished this book in a day because I had to keep reading. I could not put this book down.

I look forward to more in this series because I feel like Bruce and Mercer are nowhere near done with their adventures.

This was such a cute cozy Christmas read and it definitely gave me all of the cozy vibes. This book had some of my favorite tropes; second chance and only one bed.
This book wasn‘t super spicy like I‘m used to from Piper Rayne but I loved it anyway. It definitely reminded me of a hallmark movie and I was there for all the vibes.

This book was just heartbreaking to listen to. There are so many cases of wrongful convictions in our country and it is just disgusting. Our justice system is very flawed and it needs to be better. There were ten cases in this book and just hearing the stories and how the police and judges and the courts could have it so wrong just breaks my heart and quite honestly it makes me angry.

DGRachel Thanks for the reminder of this one. It is on my mental TBR and I finally remembered to put in my library hold! 1mo

This was an excellent collection of poetry from the master of poetry. Margaret Atwood just has a way of writing that speaks to everyone that reads her work.

This collection was split into different time periods in her writing career and each section definitely speaks to someone in particular.

Atwood can definitely evoke so much emotion with her writing. I will certainly be checking out more of her poetry collections.
