How had I not heard of this Christmas series before?
A Christmas adventure about the origin of Santa Claus with lovable characters, life lessons, and lots of humor. I‘m excited to read the rest in the series this holiday season.
I‘m glad #mgbuddyread brought this to my attention and looking forward to discussion next month. Hope everyone else enjoys it as much as I did.

Really enjoyed this fun and heartwarming story about how Father Christmas became Father Christmas (a name that sadly didn‘t make much sense in the German translation as Father Christmas is “Weihnachtsmann”/“Christmas man” in German 😂). I enjoyed Haig‘s funny style of writing and the Christmas messages of hope and being a good person that you‘d expect from a book like that. Some parts were rather sad or violent though.

Forgot to post our Christmas read aloud 😃 The boys enjoyed this story very much....and so did I!

I bought this on Christmas Day itself and my daughter read it in two sittings before I got to read it today. A fun tale of a little boy called Nikolas who became the jolly Father Christmas that we know. Full of adventure and humour. A great Christmas story I know we will reread. ✨

Loved this story about Father Christmas as a boy; bittersweet with a touch of humour and adventure it was a lovely little festive read

I have been struggling to find my Christmas joy - but the builders have finally left and I am home alone playing catch up - I have a slow cook ragu (formally rage!!) for dinner tomorrow on the stove and I am now going to kick back and start my Christmas !

The three books in The Boy Called Christmas Series by Matt Haig. I‘ve not read them yet but my wife has read the first two and really enjoyed them. #HoHoHo

This is a fun book about how Santa came to be. It has funny moments and sad ones as well. Great short book for the season with awesome characters, Blitzen! I highly recommend the audiobook read by Stephen Fry-he did a fantastic job.

Really enjoyed this book on audio read by Stephen Fry. It was the perfect listen for finishing up some holiday chores.

With a week full of homework, we had no time to read our book! Today- we read four chapters 🤓
