It took a very very long time to figure out how to stream this audio book to both mine and my husband's bluetooth ear buds at the same time 🥴
Good morning, mortals. This book is so crazy and fun!
Currently reading this stack. The top one is just so much fun. The next three are challenging me in very good ways. The bottom one is something I‘m looking forward to unpacking. #teachersoflitsy
Just finished my April #DoubleSpin - I think I would have enjoyed it more had I read the first book (Bloodsucking Fiends)...I didn‘t know this was a series 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
My double spin for April may be bumped to a future date...the e-version I have is incomplete...🤷🏻♀️🤔 Just placed a hold through my library...and now I wait.
I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description or reason for wanting to read the book. Some are old and some will be new. Don't judge me - I have a lot of books.
Woot! Did pretty well with my #BookSpinBingo in December, but no bingo! 😕 But I did read both my #BookSpin & #DoubleSpin!
My #BookSpin was the tagged book. It was okay, but would have made more sense if I had read Bloodsucking Fiends first. I didn't find it as funny as I thought I would.
Well, this feels like an odd book to read and review during such an emotional week. But when I started it, I had no idea. It‘s the second book in a trilogy, so more of a transitional story than one with much forward movement. That frustrated me. But if you‘re looking for an ironic, sarcastic, somewhat silly vampire story, this is a fun series.

It‘s safer to read a vampire book in the mid morning, whilst outside in my garden. Right? All the undead creatures are sleeping ...
p.s. So glad I moved my reading chair into the shade this year.
I started listening to this and didn't get very far before the author made a rape joke and I just noped right the hell out of there. If that is what passes as his humor I didn't need to hear one word more. Having sex with someone while they aren't conscious is not acceptable. Yes it is a work of fiction, but this is what normalizing rape looks like. I mean, would you want your son thinking that is ok? I sure don't. Just my 2 cents.
I cannot go into a bookstore and NOT buy a book....or five.... The Bookman, Orange, California. 💚📚
I chose this book for my Monthly Keyword Reading Challenge not realizing I should have started with Bloodsucking Fiends. Didn‘t matter. I was able to follow along with the story & I still found it hysterical. I think I‘ll read the first book anyway & I‘ll be reading Bite Me for sure.
I also chose it bc I went to San Francisco. Some of it takes place in a SF Safeway so I was sure to take its picture in there. Too bad I forgot the dust jacket.
You Suck was hilarious and it was an awesome sequel to its predecessor Bloodsucking Fiends!! I can‘t wait to reread the third book and finally understand the backstory. Funny story I was given Bite Me as a bday gift from my mom not knowing it was the third book in a series. Despite not knowing half the time what the hell was going on I still really enjoyed it 🤣🤣🤣.
Did you ask for a #love story? I've got two! And they are hilariously disturbing! If you aren't a Christopher Moore fan then you should be. I favor his earlier work.
Happy Valentines Day!
Really loving this book 📖
Need my dose of Christopher Moore ❤️
Thoroughly entertaining and extremely wry and funny... I have enjoyed many of Christopher Moore's books and this is my pick for #booktober "Supernatural Beings." I had difficulty with this one because I didn't want to have to return to Discworld... I don't read a huge amount of things that would qualify.
