Mehso-so

I wanted to love this, but it left me meh. The story kept referring to past events at the expense of a new plot. I also wish Marguerite Sauvage could've done all the artwork. 😍 My hubs is loving the current issues of Faith, so I'm not giving up on the character - I just feel like this wasn't the best introduction.

I finally got a chance to read this and I really enjoyed it! The author works to understand her sexuality, and couches her journey in a study of Shakespeare. She actually "talks" with Shakespeare's characters to work through her feelings. Recommend!

Midnighter & Apollp are my favorite couple in comics! Not sure if this 6 issue series is available in a trade yet, but I really enjoyed this story. It's like an episode of Supernatural crossed with a romance. 😍 #comics #romance

I didn't enjoy this book quite as much as the first in the series, but I did enjoy it. A very headstrong heroine, chafing against her place in society. I'm really looking forward to the next book - I'm intrigued by Pippa.

I know I am late to the Ice Planet party. I did not think this would be my cup of tea at all...but this book was just so damn delightful. I love that it didn't seem to take itself too seriously - while still being well written.

All Or Nothing | Rose Lerner

This novella wasn't in the Litsy database (it was just released on 2/28). I love Rose Lerner's characters - even in the brief space of a novella they are wonderfully rounded. The hero "wins" the heroine in a game of chance - but Lerner subverts the trope beautifully. Bisexual hero + Jewish heroine acknowledging the real struggles they'll face as a couple. ❤ #romantsy #historicalromance
