The Dream Thieves | 
pickI enjoyed the second installment of The Raven Boys more than the first. The story began to expand into new territory and moved at a faster pace. I also liked the development of "magic" even if some of it felt like it came out of no where at first. Overall, a solid read.
pickI loved this book. This series just keeps getting better! Maggie Stiefvater has created a fantastic world in the mountains of Henrietta Virginia. I really like Ronan's character development in this. I'm anxious to see how things progress in the next book. I'm starting Blue Lily, Lily Blue right now.
pickPretty damn good. I was hooked from the beginning. Ronan is an intriguing character and I liked getting to know him better in this book. His abilities are fascinating. That ending was great and I got something I had hoped for. I hope the author focuses more on Noah at some point in the next few books.

pickLOVED this book. The abilities were neat, the character arcs were great, and I cannot wait to read the next book. I think I devoured it in a matter of days (instead of reading my schoolbook but what can you do). I am loving this series so far, and I can‘t wait for the spinoff series that focuses on Ronan.
Loving the #audiobook the Dream Thieves. When I see these trees driving into work, it reminds me of the trees that Ronan dreams about.

January was all about the fantasy since I didn't get to read much last year! I reread some Laini Taylor and now I'm in the middle of the Raven Cycle.
What should be after that? I have City of Brass and Children of Blood and Bone, but I'd like to finally read some V.E. Schwab...🤔

pickOooh yay! This was a reread for me before I dive into the previously unread 3rd book. I definitely enjoyed this much more the second time around, I picked up more plot moments and character dynamics that added to my love of the story. I am so excited to continue!

The second book concentrates Ronan and his dreams. It‘s a fittingly strange book to end 2018 with. Started off slow but suddenly burst into life about halfway through. I‘m not a diehard fan of the series but I will probably finish reading it. 3.5🌟
Managed to complete my reading challenge in the nick of time! Now on to 2019.
pickI already know it's going to be one of those I re-read over and over again. I enjoyed how the story focused mainly on Ronan, who quickly became my favourite Raven Boy and the struggles he had to face. All of the characters grow as the story progresses which always makes me fall for a book. I loved how the magic was different to the stereotypical fireballs and ice walls... it is more believable - the kind of magic you wish was real.
pickWell I finished the dream thieves and it took a bit of getting into but obviously I hit my stride at about midnight as you do because who needs sleep, now I need to go read blue lily, lily blue because I need answers. But first need a quick flight of the conchords listen because “I‘m not crying it‘s just been raining on my face” also thanks to this book “my eyes are just a little sweaty today”.
pickThe characters are EVERYTHING!! 😍😍 Love all of them, loved the writing style.. the story in this one was pretty imaginative too. The only downer (for me) that‘s been looming since the prologue of the first book is the ~true love~ nonsense, but it‘s still not big enough to take away from the great story and other themes in this book.
@hermyknee I‘m loving the 2nd book in the series even more than the first one. I think because the characters have become my friends now. :)
pickI liked this book, but not as much as the first. It seemed to drag in places and I think more could have happened in the relationships between the characters. However, I am a sucker for romances, so this may bias my opinion. Overall, it is still worth reading.

pickToo often the middle book in a trilogy is weak. Fortunately this series is a quartet, so the second book is every bit as good as the first. Or better, since the first didn‘t include a hitman who recites poetry in Old English.

pickI am enjoying this series. I likes the dark twist of Adam in this one and learning more about Ronan. I did not really get into the story of the Gray Man until the end. On to Book 3!
