Thinking about how this is the first in the series characters were pretty okay: I especially loved a medical examiner who was a bit peculiar.

This wasn't really thrilling but a solid crime mystery.

I think this had a good solid ground for the story but execution made this slightly dry: if surrounding & atmosphere, maybe even characters had been a bit more fleshed out this propably would have been amazing.

I finished all 48 issues of this series for #Scarathlon. I picked up the first issue years ago and just never got around to continuing.

Kirkman has created an interesting concept for demonic possession and those in society who are born with the ability to fight it. These Outcasts are labeled the bad guys and the possessed individuals seem to thrive in our world. However, all good things must come to an end and this story has an excellent ending.

I liked the characters: there was a really nice variety of them and everyone was somehow interesting.

I loved the atmosphere and that was the best aspect of this book. Dark and mysterious!

I disliked the writing style: it was unnecessary wordy and it was hard to get the idea behind sentences.

This didn't really have a plot. There was a group of people who had random discussions with each other but nothing really happened.

This was the last book in this nerdy mm romance series. This was about Lewis, the PA to two well-known cosplayers, who has ADHD and falls for a famous actor. While it is about his and Jason's romance, it also touches on queer representation in television and fighting for a happy ending.

I'm on the Murderbot train and can't stop won't stop. This was a more action packed installment as Murderbot goes to investigate more about the shady GrayCris company. As usual, our favorite AI gets roped into helping some silly humans not die.

Characters were too two-dimensional and there were so many characters that were almost barely names.

This was a bit slow but sometimes creepy and I liked it. Overall I more liked than disliked the atmosphere.

Story was interesting enough but there were some really unbelievable and/or predictable twists.

I loved dialogies and characters were likable too. My favorit was Fermín, he was awesome!

This was perfect for the season: it rained often and it was so foggy all the time :D This wasn't easy book to read because this made me feel so sad: there were so many dying or being old.

I liked the story, this had a mystery that revealed itself slowly. This was interesting but at some point dragged a bit.

For me there were two secondary characters that were more interesting than the main characters: Hecate and Lexa. Both were friends of Persephone. Hades & Persephone were somehow too perfect to be really interesting.

This didn't feel really much like a mythological story. This was retelling but wordbuilding and mythological “vibe“ were missing.

This was entertaining and easy to read but didn't feel really special.

I loved books 2 and 3, but this one left a little to be desired for me. Personally, it's the setting more than the story. This one takes place mostly in America and I just wasn't as invested. It was interesting to see the dynamics unfold when the family is finally all together through, and I'm a big fan of Ian's character after finishing this one.

TheSpineView I thought that too. I gave up on book 5. 3d
