Great fun to read. Absolute joy. A real gem if you like cozy mysteries and enjoy baking! Well thought out and I can highly recommend it. Likeable characters and a charming setting. Leaves you wanting to read more. This is my second time reading it for a challenge.

I love love love this cozy mystery! The title is slightly misleading- no Jane Austen type story that I could discern, but I love the MC, her magical pies and her family. A little bit of a slow start but after awhile I was hooked! And I never saw the murderer coming! I will for sure be reading more of this series!!!

This book made me think of Hope Floats and Simply Irresistible, with a dash of Ya-Ya Sisterhood, Steel Magnolias and Practical Magic at different times. So basically Southern aunts, magic and enchanted pies. I liked it . However, I‘m not really sure I‘m interested in continuing the series and I can‘t put my finger on why. #Booked2021 Baked goods on the cover #BookspinBingo

This was a cute cozy mystery. Ella Mae moves back to her home town in Georgia and opens up a pie shop. Along the way she is accused of murder, deals with her arch nemesis and finds that her Mother and Aunts aren't typical women.

Book 13 #cozyinthesun @Librarybelle @ferskner This book kept coming up on the recommendations list for me so I thought I would try it. I liked the magical realism in the book. The LeFay women all have a touch a magic in them and the main character can bake her feelings into her pies. The mystery itself was solid and the magical realism kept the pages turning. Good enough to read the rest of the series. Not that I need more series to get into.

A cozy mystery which incorporates baking and some "magic". Was not expecting the later when I started the series. Interested in finding out how the author will incorporate this into the future books.

First book of the year was a nice little cozy. I use cozies as a palette cleanser in between some heavy books. This one was a nice quick read and I really enjoyed it
