Very funny as usual, but unfortunately I didn't remember enough of what had happened in the previous books to always follow what was going on.

Third book in the series. There's to be an attack on the paper. Sadly, Hannah has left The Stranger Times. Banecroft needs to find a new editor. Grace is building a box-fort. Stella wants to become a reporter. Ox and Reggie disagree over the acquisition of wellingtons. Manny needs to man the cue on loon-day. DI Sturgess went grocery shopping. And Simon speaks in tongues.

... if Betty were to find out that Ox had been scamming a second pay cheque, he'd lose his job. If Banecroft were to find out, Ox would quite possibly lose his life. When she'd started this process, Stella had one hundred percent not wanted either of those things to happen. After spending the afternoon in the dank, miserable basement, she was now, at best, fifty-two percent in favour of Ox's continuing existence....
