#7 in the series and my favourite this far! I really enjoyed the plot, it was in fact excellent and so was the writing. Also enjoyed the extremely personal things going on in both Whitney‘s and Georgina‘s lives. I can‘t get enough of this series! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

An Innocent Client | Scott Pratt

so-so

In between a pick and so-so. People have been raving about this book. At times it was good, but then it was suddenly all over the place, jumping from A to B to F. Also got very, very tired of everyone being bad. We get it, all the clients and victims are bad, bad, bad. I would have edited this book a lot. I liked the main plot and the family things, but otherwise it was too much to try to remember.

Ruthiella I love Christie, but she‘s over represented on the list, IMO. There are so many great mysteries and mystery writers out there. Personally, I‘m not a fan of either Foley, Hawkins or Ware, but I think I understand their appeal. 5mo

Andrew65 @Tove_Reads I‘d also look up the DCI Evan Warlow series by Rhys Dylan set in Wales. Have you read the DCI Daley Series by Denzil Meyrick, I imagine you will have done. I‘m also currently enjoying the Mercy Harbour series set in Florida by Melinda Woodhall, and she has a few other series too. 5mo

Andrew65 @Tove_Reads In simple terms yes. There are only so many books you can have out at once. Might be 15. You can return when you have read them or keep on your Kindle. If your subscription expires the books you have out will disappear. 5mo

Andrew65 @EadieB I just finished book 2 of Mercy Harbor in the early hours of the morning. Will be starting book 3 later and book 4 over the next few days as I need to write reviews on all of them. Already written mine for book 1. I‘m enjoying the books, the central characters and the back history of the stories. These review copies came through Book Sirens. 5mo

Rebels trying to overthrow the government. The rebels recite students. One got caught, and he‘s in a torture chamber now, never to be seen.

Love, Life, and Elephants: An African Love Story | Daphne Sheldrick

Daphne Sheldrick started the David Sheldrick Foundation when David passed away. The foundation helps elephant and rhino orphans in Kenya. They will be introduced back into the wild when they are ready. Amazing place, amazing people. I read the book a couple of years ago.
