A gripping tale from the beginning to the very end. I was given this as a gift and couldn't put it down!

An emotionally devastating story and one that needed to be told.

“Sometimes, Clark, you are pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning“

Tainted love and devastation. This thriller follows Nick's twisting journey as he searches for his wife and through her mind. This story explores the extent of revenge and manipulation by a brilliant writer in a brilliant novel.

While the writing is occasionally flat, the story and plot itself is wonderful. Charlotte, the main character, is an inspiring character who rose at the chance to change her life around. Bulimia, anorexia, and binge-eating are topics handled carefully and skilfully throughout the novel. The story reflects on the relationships of a small town and of a supportive family.

By far, my favourite Stephen King book. As horrific as it is, it is definitely a page-turner! King creates dread right at the beginning of the novel that stays with the reader until the very end.
