Not my favorite of the series but still good enough. This one is set at a house party and is set on Apollo and Cassandra.

I will keep reading this series because they‘re a very good escape for me.

Four short stories from the world of TJ Klune‘s Tales of Verania series. I haven‘t read it, but I sure want to after reading this. This is definitely for adults. There is plenty of swearing and it gets a bit spicy in places. If you‘ve read anything by Sarah J. Maas, Rebecca Yarros, or Alexis Hall you‘ll be fine with this. This is not at all what I was expecting from TJ Klune, honestly. This is no Cerulean Sea. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

GingerAntics I laughed through the entire first story. Ru Paul could have also narrated that one and it would have been equally brilliant. The second story echoed a single line from The House in the Cerulean Sea, that was pretty cute. The third story referenced TBBT (obscurely) and then Home Alone. 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻 3w
GingerAntics I couldn‘t help laughing when I got to those parts. The fourth (last) story is my absolute favourite, and it‘s also the only story that exists within the canon of the original series. #TJKlune #FairytalesFromVerania #shortstories #spicy 🌶️ #snarky #sweet 3w

Really enjoying the “A Never After” series. Book 2 complete and ready to dive in to number three. Loved the Hamlet references used in this book…and the ending!

I did not like the epilogue of this book. I am glad that the characters ended up happy but it seemed so...off putting? I just felt like the epilogue was extremely rushed and almost too good to be true. I think it would have been better if they focused on Stassie winning gold. It would have been full circle and a happy ending without being too rushed or idealistic.

I thought that Stassie's friendship with Aaron was really interesting/odd. On one hand, I think their relationship could illustrate how sometimes people stay in situations that are not best for them. While this is painful to read, it does happen so portraying Stassie's struggle with Aaron could help those struggling with toxic relationships. On the other hand, Aaron was just terrible. I don't really think that he should have had a redemption arc.
