Summer, an ambitious final year student collides with Aidan, the hockey captain, for a final project. Summer can‘t stand Aidens carefree approach to life. Summer has a five year life plan. Bickering turns to banter but will banter turn to feelings? The two MCs are the perfect enemies to lovers. They overcome several milestones. Many small moments make this story unputdownable. I‘ve already ordered the next book in the series- Spiral.

I actually liked this one more than Butcher and Blackbird. There was much more backstory to the characters and I liked how the relationship developed. And there was humor. It was preeeteeeee spicy, with some dark themes, but the stalker hero has total golden retriever vibes.

Figure skaters & hockey players are meant to be kept separate. That‘s until the hockey rink‘s flooded & Anastasia‘s figure partner‘s injured, he claims, by hockey player, Nate. They have to share a rink & Anastasia has to practice w/ Nate.

I actually liked this one despite other‘s bad reviews. I liked both of the MCs character arcs. There was good romance. It was a little longer than it should‘ve been & the writing could‘ve been a little better.

It was good at times and other times cheesy. Spicy! Maybe a little long and repetitive at times.
