Came across this pic today of my sweet Babs, a greyhound we adopted back in 2005. She's been gone since 2016, but I still can shed a tear just looking at her pictures. How she loved that Lamb Chop. 🤎🐾🤎
Naps were pure heaven
with your Lamp Chop by your side.
I miss you, sweet girl.

I loved this book. It is the best I‘ve ever read about dogs, with narrative by a dog. Enzo gives us his entire life story: his relationships with humans, his desires, what he loves, and everything he feels. Tissues needed. *The screen adaptation stays 95% true to the book. Watch it—you know you want to!
Many of you have seen Sherlock in my posts. He has been by my side for my entire health scare/issues journey. He‘s my snuggle buddy, calming force & so much more.
This weekend we found out he has his own issues. He needs to see a specialist (currently booking a month out! 😤) but things look bad.
It‘s been a horrible, emotional and stressful weekend. I‘m a mess. He‘s amazing as usual.
Please keep him in your thoughts. I‘d really appreciate it.
This book has its sad moments but it‘s a funny and light hearted read. What is it like, not just in the day of a dog‘s life—but in its heart? That‘s what this book presents. Too often we take our closest companions for granted, and still, they never stop loving us. The Buddha once said if you want to understand love, start with animals first, because they‘re easier. He also said animals die sooner than us, because when we come into the world⬇️
This book is a solid and extensive history of our closest, most beloved companions: dogs. From evolution, to our first contact, wars, religion and mythology (and so much more), it‘s all there. Shown: Aine, the sweetest little girl who snuggles with me every day!
I enjoyed watching the neighbor's dog playing this morning. Missed my photo opportunity, so this is a web photo.

I loved the author‘s memoir ‘You Had Me At Woof‘ and knew I wanted to read this one too. She shares three stories of how dogs have enriched her life and got her through hard times. This is a book for dog lovers and anyone who has fostered and adopted them. Shown: Cthulu, a Boston Terrier we adopted years ago. I miss him every day!🌈
