Great summary ☺️ I'm going to be posting a gushy review of the Karen Russell story collection I just finished, and it has a wonderful story about a masseuse who provides therapy treatments to a veteran from Iraq... Really excellent, grapples with a lot of important issues about veterans coping with trauma. 5y

Even though I had guessed the villain in this one, it was still highly engrossing with its eerie archeological element, and I was impressed with how well the author turned the starkly harsh, isolated beauty of the Saltmarsh into a stand-alone character of its own. Dr. Ruth Galloway is a character that lingers with you, and I‘m looking forward to reading more about her! 4/5⭐️ Thanks to @eanderson for introducing me to this series! 😊
