Cinfhen I read one last year for #popsugar17 and it wasn‘t my thing @4thhouseontheleft so that‘s why I‘m not eager to read another #steampunk although this author has so much #LitsyLove 6y

Woot woot! This was a great reading year, surpassed my #goodreadschallenge and compleated #LitsyAtoZ and#popsugar17 Started my #mountTBR in Kilimanjaro and finished in El Toro, I also played some #Litsybingo and won.
But best of all, I read a lot of great books!!

alisiakae @MinDea I hardly ever finish a challenge! I got through about 2/3 of #popsugar17, and my #tbrbingo is looking a little empty (I did finish a complete row). For me, it‘s the process I enjoy, I don‘t mind if I don‘t finish. 6y

Because 9 challenges on Litsy just isn‘t enough, I thought I‘d share this one I spotted thanks to @brookerhi 👍🏻It looks like fun, so I‘m jumping in...The #FirstReadofTheYear in 2017 was this YA by Meg Abbott, which I did not enjoy, way to YA for me and it didn‘t read true enough. It was for #popsugar17 #BookAboutASport if you are participating in #Booked2018 this works for #BookFeaturingAnOlympicSport 😀Its about competitive gymnastics 🤸‍♂️

I‘m pushing through to get there, for the challenge but also because I‘ll have $200 to spend on any books I want, and no one can berate me for it! A short but substantial read. My heart ached for Dr. Kalanithi's wife, parents and young daughter. Knowing that his life was going to end, much sooner than ever imagined, Paul Kalanithi chose to write his memoir as a legacy for his daughter.
