Loved this book picturing about what all different types of children in different places see outside their window. #picturebooksatoz #bbrc #o @LibrarianRyan

This was really between a pick and a so-so for me. I liked the historical fiction, but I didn't think that the modern-day storyline of Eloise and Colin needed to be included.

This is what the TBR Jar picked for me to read next, and it's on my list of books for #LitsyAtoZ. #O #coffeeandabook #TBRJar

AlaMich I really need to do a TBR jar. I get so bogged down sometimes in choosing my next book, I frustrate myself. 4mo
CoffeeNBooks @AlaMich I just made my TBR jar recently, and I really like it! It definitely makes choosing the next book easier! 📚 4mo

I enjoyed this modern retelling of this classic. I would have to do a side by side reading of this translation and the Fagles translation to find out which version I liked more and see what the differences are between the two. #2019 #litsyatoz #litsyatoz2019 #lettero #o

The library had my holds ready for me this afternoon and I had placed them last night at 11, so I was very excited! I went straight after work to pick them up. I can‘t wait to start on this one! I LOVE the library!!!

I listened to this one on audio and it's been a decade or more since I had read through it. One of my favorite books as a teen, I just love Ponyboy's story and struggles. I remember loving to escape into a world worse than my own with terrors I'd never faced. The message is so clear and I just love all the characters so much. I've watched the movie a million times as well and may want to rewatch it again soon. #litsyatoz #o

Beatlefan129 Oh my gosh, The Outsiders was my favorite as a teen as well. I had my mom‘s old copy and I must have read it a thousand times 8mo

I love books with strong female characters that aren‘t afraid to stand up for themselves. I really enjoyed the narration for this one as well. This is the last #newyearwhodis that I will get to this month, but don‘t worry, I plan on reading all of your list @Laughterhp Thanks for helping start my reading year off with a bang!
This is also my #litzyatoz #o pick

"Please, sir, I want some more."

Dickens, Charles. Oliver Twist. Puffin Classics. 1994.

This one line transformed Oliver from a tiny poor orphan child, to the devil incarnate.

This was a fantastic book. I enjoyed learning more about Michelle and her life. The inside look at living in the White House was fascinating. I struggled with feeling a bit blue and sad while listening, because I started to think about our current administration and what‘s become so glaring in our country because of it. I just felt so heavy. However, Michelle‘s book is full of hope and optimism and I‘m going to hold onto that. ⬇️ Hashtags below.
