I actually laughed out loud (the Barbara clinic scene) in front of the #manpanion, my sister & her husband (they were watching the football draft so I was reading). I liked the crocheting in it. As another said, it got repetitive & I did skim a little at times.
No desire to read the first 2 books, but this one was a pleasant surprise.
I‘m currently up in PA with the #manpanion.
This morning I had tea with a cinnamon swirl donut.
I just finished putting pork stroganoff into the crockpot for dinner.
Then I‘m cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry.
I plan on spending the evening reading, knitting, and playing backgammon with the manpanion (who does not have WiFi so no computer work or tv streaming😬).

My #BOTM blue box came while I was down in PA at the hospital. I drove up to get some more clothes and check on my #litsykitties before going back down to the hospital. Thank you to everyone who has sent their thoughts and prayers. The #manpanion is still in the ICU but is more stable.

Well. Good news and bad news.
I‘ve recovered from Covid, but the #manpanion is in the ICU . Covid turned into pneumonia and his oxygen levels were dangerously low.
Thankfully I can stay in the room with him. I‘m trying to keep myself distracted with this cozy mystery & some knitting.
I‘m writing this because I know many of you have gone through the same thing, can understand, & maybe be able to offer advice.

So, I‘ve been off the grid. The #manpanion and I have Covid. 😷I‘ve spent the last 5 days shivering 🥶 and whimpering under the covers. I‘m hoping my headache goes away soon so I can start reading this #arc
I‘m really looking forward to this one. It almost makes up for having to cancel a fun planned weekend down in Virginia with my sister (we had high ☕️, 🪓 throwing, and Maverick 🍿 on the agenda 😞).
