pickFinished on Wednesday. Took me a minute to grasp the Google sheets wizardry for #HauntedShelf 😝 Grabbed 17 word search words on this book alone. Counting this one as a series recommendation. I love these characters! I have really enjoyed this series and hope book 2 isn‘t the end. Also I really enjoyed Rowley‘s narration on audio and was surprised to only find he has narrated his own work. #SkeletonCrew ⬇️
For this #hauntedshelf rec I saw the category ‘dark‘ I was thinking what‘s the darkest book I‘ve read. This is some quite extreme horror, needing trigger warnings for absolutely everything, but thr writing was so oddly lyrical and it‘s such an individual book about a relationship I‘ll probably never see the likes of in print again.

For prompt 5 of the #hauntedshelf book cover scavenger hunt I‘ve picked one of my absolute favourite graphic novels dealing with the night sky - depicting it on the cover and full of it all the way through. I can‘t even tell you how much I love this gorgeous strange surreal queer sci fi kind of quiet space opera.
