How I spent my Sunday. I stayed away from social media and read the whole book in one day. I haven't done that in a few years. It was the perfect light frothy romance I needed and I loved it. To fulfill the #frenemies prompt for @Booked2021, I chose this “classic.“ Admittedly, I've never seen the show -- too much teen drama and scandal for me. Don't get me wrong, it was entertaining -- just not so entertaining that I had an overwhelming desire to keep reading the series. (I totally cheated and read the Wikipedia entry to figure out the answer to the my biggest unanswered question!)

All finished books are 4 🌟 reads accept for the tagged book which was 2 🌟. It was my #Bookspin and my Frenemies #Booked2021.

I am trying Shadow of the Wind on audio and moved from audio to print for Dr. Z. I have to say I‘m still a little confused but not ready to throw in the towel yet. Villette is for my last Booked prompt..lesser known book.

Still behind on Warmth but hope to be caught up soon.

I've read the DI Rebus bks for many yrs +with bk 21 rebus, retired + in poor health finds himself again part of an investigation involving the Edinburgh criminal World as an historic murder links to money laundering. Thru the series villain Big Ger Cafferty + Rebus have fought each other, in retirement they still hate each other but there grudging respect - frenemies??

I have seen mixed reviews for this book, but it hit the creepy mark for me. I highly recommend the audio if you pick it up.
In 1959, all of the residents of Silvertjarn, except a dead body hanging on a pole and an infant, found alive, disappear. Now, Alice and four other documentary crew members return to the old mining village to find out what happened. The story unfolds flipping back and forth between 1959 and now.

I really needed something light and fun, and this cozy did not disappoint. It's not world changing, but it's certainly entertaining! And now I really want to try some of the recipes...
