Makes the monsters-under-the-bed theme fun for kids! And the illustrations are silly-scary, so kids should enjoy.

More - a fun way to explain that sometimes more is too much
The New Small Person - the trials and tribulations, but also the joys, of becoming a big sibling
One True Bear - how a teddy bear won over a difficult child
The Popcorn Book - combining a history of popcorn and a look at it's place in many cultures with a guide to storing and cooking it

"Mirror, mirror, on the wall. Who's the fairest..." Like all little American children I grew up on Disney movies, so this immediately played in my head when I saw the word #fair (though I later got interested in the stories they came from) #letstravelaugust @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks @OriginalCyn620

Jealousy: Vintage Minis | Marcel Proust

Loving these minimalist cover of Penguin Random House UK Vintage Minis series. From fiction, non-fiction and essays, they explore various topics in life, from birth to death, and everything in between. And look, there‘s one titled #Jealousy by Proust.

#AugustABC #Day10 #Jealousy This recent read is driven by jealousy, from both the murderer, the victim & the whole group of friends in an arts college. The victim, Richard, recently overlooked for a part he considered his, becomes jealous & violent which in turn drives his friends to become disgusted with his behaviors pushing him to lash out until one has enough & snaps, killing him, leaving you to empathize more with the guilty.
