Bergman is my favorite film director. I discovered his work in 2009 when I finally borrowed The Seventh Seal from the library where I work. My reaction to that first exposure: 'WHAT IS THIS?' I've now seen about 40 of his films, collected more than 10 related books, and The Seventh Seal is one of my top 10 favorite films.

This was such a fun coffee table book!

This book is just like the title suggests, good movies as old books. Essentially, movies turned into vintage book covers. The term “good movies” is subjective. The author states in his introduction, “These are films that made me laugh, cry, think, question, and celebrate” (pg. 7).

Specifically using this edition because of the sad news of Shelley Duvall. I scored 46% in the quiz. Three movie quotes that I love that were not listed:
“Yeah, well, you know, that's just, like, your opinion, man.” (Big Lebowki) Especially effective when dealing with fools online.

I have been meaning to join in on this for awhile, so might as well now. I took the quiz & I received a measly 30%. I know that @dabbe said name 3 of yr fave movies from the challenge. I am taking this as movies that are not on this list, & there just might be more than 3 movies. However they were all released 2010-2023. I'm not a total anarchist after all. In no particular order.
