Bergman is my favorite film director. I discovered his work in 2009 when I finally borrowed The Seventh Seal from the library where I work. My reaction to that first exposure: 'WHAT IS THIS?' I've now seen about 40 of his films, collected more than 10 related books, and The Seventh Seal is one of my top 10 favorite films.
Bookwomble I love The Seventh Seal, though I don't have your dedication to Bergman's other films - that's impressive! 😀 One of my favourite singers, Scott Walker, did a fantastic tribute to Bergman's film on the opening track of his album, Scott 4.
