Cupcake12 We are t planning any big holidays as we want to work on the house. My eldest will start university in September and she‘s also got her driving test. A year of changes but hopefully Litsy continues to be a big part of my life x (edited) 9mo

wordslinger42 Our first kiddo (a baby girl) is arriving in May, so the first part of the year will be spent preparing for her arrival and then the rest adjusting to parenthood 🥰 My hubby and I are picking out books for her first library, which will be fun! Other than that, no specific plans aside from lots of reading! 9mo

We were supposed to be getting off our cruise ship in Fort Lauderdale this morning, but instead are being held out at sea due to Hurricane Milton. We are currently sailing past Cuba and the weather is gorgeous. Feeling a bit guilty about that, and sending many prayers for the safety of all who are in the path of this terrible storm. 🙏

TheAromaofBooks I was telling a friend that there is almost a kind of survivor's guilt when you know something terrible is happening that you can't control. The horrific hurricane that destroyed so many lives was what sent rain to us and finally broke a severe drought. It's a weird mix of gratitude but also feeling really bad about it, despite literally having no control over the weather lol 12mo
