I was hooked on this audio book. The twists and turns were so unexpected, and the fetish about the shoes were just too funny. I'm beginning to like this author

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ was I expecting where the initial plot was headed, yes. Did I nail all the plot twists? Not even close. Did I hate characters? Absolutely. Page-turner, for sure! Glad I got to clear this from my TBR. Thank you, #HauntedShelf #RestlessSpirits #JustOneMoreChapter #Pumpkaboo
What‘s everybody‘s favorite overall thriller book? I‘m a big Freida McFadden fan but I also like those hidden books that are not talked about much that you would recommend.
Freida does it again! Her twists and story telling is amazing. My mouth was on the floor and again couldn‘t put it down!

So…. This was my first Freida McFadden book & I have to say I am not sure I get the hype of her books. This book was very predictable & I had it figured out extremely early on, but kept going hoping for a twist that never came. Maybe this was not the best book to start with, but I am not sure I want to read any others. Overall it was a good book & I enjoyed the journey. I would recommend to anyone who wants a good, fast read.

I‘ve been on a “Freida Frenzy“ for the last three weeks. My mission: Read all the Freida McFadden books that I hadn‘t already read. I can now say that I am a “Freida Completist”. Now I have to wait for her newest title, The Intruder, coming out October 7, 2025. Hope I don‘t go through horrible withdrawal symptoms.

1. I have around 30 physical books and 80 ebooks at home left to read. The problem is my daughter is an avid reader, when she finishes her books, she adds them to my pile 😂
2. Tagged. I couldn‘t put it down. One of my daughter‘s books!

A psychological thriller that I couldn‘t put down! Eve has a good life, good husband and is a high school maths teacher. Last year, the school where she teaches was rocked by a scandal involving a student/teacher affair. That student was Addie. This year Addie is in Eve‘s maths class and her husbands English class. There are so many twisting secrets and a great revenge plot. It was such a quick read with short chapters.

Spent the morning on the garden now time for an afternoon read 📖💕

Another goodie by Frieda. If you ever watched Pretty Little Liars, I can totally see Ian Harding playing Nate Bennet. There was a good twist in the end but it left me asking a few questions but can‘t say here without spoiling it. Definitely a quick, fun read 💜

@BarbaraBB Barbara! Stop! YOU are the best!!!
Thank you so very much for this sweet surprise!!! Awwww, I cannot believe you sent me something - that is soooo sweet of you!!!🥲 Couldn't believe it when I fished it out of my mailbox. Thank YOU!!!

Well that was crazy! My #doublespin for February @TheAromaofBooks

The housemaid series are the most popular by far, but there is not a single stand alone of hers I‘ve read that doesn‘t keep me glued until I know what happens, and even when I think I know… I don‘t

This was a fun, quick thriller with a great twist at the end!

Another twisty thriller written in true McFadden style with each chapter bouncing from character to character creating a fast paced read. Read this in a day, definitely gripping, but the subject matter...a little more difficult to stomach if I'm honest.
Having read 3 of McFadden's books, I can see a lot of similarities in her characters and storyline. Not saying it's a bad thing just might start to make her books quite predictable.

It is a very very foggy frosty Sunday morning here is Southend. We have escaped the snow (thank goodness) and have had some cold days. This morning was a beautiful walk in the Frost and fog. Home now with a big cup of tea and a thriller to dive into

4/5 ⭐️
Discovered this author and I read 3 or 4 books by her. I really enjoyed it.

I could not put this down. It was addicting and fast-paced and twisty. But the last like 2-3 pages…what? How? It made flip back to previous chapters, trying to figure stuff out, and I still have questions.

Didn't love this book and plot, taking advantage of students.. Multilple 1st person narratives was also complicated to read.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5
Hard to read at times.
but the twist at the end had me shocked.
Really good psychological thriller!

This popcorn thriller was just what I needed, and I‘m so glad I went into it completely blind—no back cover reading, just a recommendation from a bookish bestie. The short chapters and multiple perspectives made this a lightning-fast read; I could barely keep up with how quickly I was flipping pages. Go into this one blind and just let yourself enjoy the ride. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐/5 for pure entertainment value! ❤️📚

Holy moly!! What a roller coaster and the last 100 pages were crazy!!! So twisty and I never saw that ending coming!!

What a great book! Did not see the ending coming. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I knew this was a psychological thriller going in, but what a roller coaster. I stayed up late twice past midnight to finish, I just couldn‘t put it down! The last twist is nuts and I had to go back and read a few things to make sure I remembered how she described him, and damn it does pan out!!! Book #88 in 2024

Popcorn thriller, fast paced with super short chapters, perfect follow up to my last read which was slower paced. Plus, it‘s Labor Day weekend, just before the start of school here, which makes the timing of this read pretty perfect.
I am going into this one completely blind, except for the recommendation from a bookish bestie who loaned it to me. ❤️📚

So fun. Loved it.
At first it was just 3 terrible people being terrible, but it was v twisty & came together well.
BUT - I don‘t know what to make of that last twist. Really preposterous.

Very twisty and fast paced just as expected. I loved the final twist at the end that really just made me think differently. There were a couple issues I had with the overall outcome which is the only reason for not giving 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I‘m not sure how I feel about this book. I was hooked until the very end, but it got too far fetched which was disappointing. 🫤
McFadden has once again delivered an unputdownable, gritty, twisty thriller. I always know when I start one of McFadden‘s titles I am in for one hell of a ride....

Shoes, shoes and more shoes…oh, and highly manipulative behavior with a hefty dash of “ew.” This book revolves around 2 female characters, one with mediocre poetry skills and the other with a rabid shoe fetish…and both have a complicated, questionable, icky relationship with one man. Good book to blow through while sitting outside, but the overuse of the word “pumps” will drive you to drink copious amounts of booze. Still a worthy read.

5✨ I recently read a book with a similar character trait as the teachers in this book, and I‘m not really a fan. However, the tension throughout the book kept me on the edge of seat and finding that I didn‘t want to put it down. Then the ending had me really impressed with the author for hiding a key detail all the way to the end that blew my already blown mind.

After reading this book, I can‘t decide which character was more evil. I started out feeling one way, and then another, and another, and so on. This story had so many twists and turns, more than most. This is the first book I‘ve read by this author. It won‘t be my last. Thrillers aren‘t my normal genre, but this psychological thriller drew me in from the start. I did the audio version. The narrator was excellent.
