Good read, easy to finish because the writing is so easy and story so juicy you don‘t want to put it down.. little lack luster but only because I had such high expectations.

I will also never read a Peter Robinson book again, this was painful to get through, and at the risk of sounding sexist, it deterred me from buying male authors for a while. So boring it put me in a reading slump.

As much as I love a good whodunnit I think Agatha Christie isn‘t modern enough for me, I love the story lines but my brain drifts away in the writing. I feel like a reading fraud giving this a bad review!

This was going to be 5 stars until I got to the end. I wrote contains spoilers although I won‘t give any details away. Just the fact that I read the whole thing in a day loved every chapter and then finished it to find no more pages to help my frustration. My perfect genre the worst ending 😭

A classic whodunnit. Easy reading, got through it pretty fast, (did not pick the villain) the only thing is I hate it when books waste your trying too obviously to throw you in the wrong direction. I didn‘t guess correctly but give me a little credit 😂 could have been shorter, and it‘s not long.
