This book was interesting, a unique way of telling the story by using different perspectives from three characters. The #audio was fantastic, both because that format was especially effective via audio and also because Richard Armitage was one of the narrators. Love him! I will say it was slow at times and felt a little disjointed but the compelling ending and unexpected twist made it a pick for me. #BookspinBingo @TheAromaofBooks

A couple weeks ago I read my first-ever book by this author, and now, reading the second, I noticed that this same line is in both books! I wonder if it‘s in all her books. Anyone know?

I loved this one and it actually ended up surprising me at the end (didn‘t see that twist coming). At first I was nervous going into this book since I wasn‘t the biggest fan of “Sometimes I Lie.” 4.5/5 stars for me!

🌟🌟🌟1/2

It kept me going to the last page, of course dying to know what the hell was going on. Sadly, the ending wasn‘t really that satisfying and highly improbable. This definitely took away much of the pow factor these who done it‘s usually have. Eeverything leading up to the reveal, was pretty edge of your seat thriller.

This was a great psychological thriller

Feeney is great at building the story gradually by weaving in hints of information piecemeal throughout the main narrative & the characters backstories

I thought I had things figured out several times, but kept changing my mind about who the killer was and there were several twists that took me by surprise.

A very satisfying psychological thriller that I thoroughly enjoyed reading

I loved this audiobook. The story switches among three narrators: a journalist (her), a detective (him), and the killer. The killer‘s part is read through a voice changer, which is delightfully creepy. Most of the mysteries I have read lately Have had easy-to-guess endings, but not this one. The book is about a serial killer, and it contains some graphic descriptions of bodies, so it is not for everyone.

Bk24 of June & Bk17 of #JoysOfJune #readathon is done! This will most probably be the last finished book of the readathon but I definitely achieved way more than the goals I set, which is brilliant. My first Feeney, I very much enjoyed this. The ending completely blindsided me, I had no idea of the killers identity till then(which doesn‘t happen often anymore)so that says a lot about the book. Highly recommend. #Pop21 #52BookClubChallenge 👇👇

I definitely liked this one more than sometimes I lie. However where that one had too many twists, this one had too many red herrings. It felt like the author was trying too hard to throw us off. Also the fate of one of the characters really upset me as I felt that particular character had suffered enough and there was no real reason for their end.

Other than that this was really fun and I blew through the last 100 pages. Great pick! #LMPBC

Still working my Edelweiss backlog, which will be a task never finished because my bookish eyes continue to be bigger than my bookish stomach. Another twisty thriller from Feeney that had me switching suspects faster than a game of Spoons. The narration was quite good (I use Libby and Hoopla to plow through my TBR faster) and the lovely, gorgeous Richard Armitage did the His parts. *swoon*

Kappadeemom I loved this one! 13mo

Update for #AnyWayYouReadathon: I finished His & Hers, which was a nice twisty thriller that had me flipping through theories, and just when I congratulated myself on a case well solved, Feeney was like, nope, THIS is how it happened. I also made progress on The Woods Are Always Watching, which is only furthering my vow to never camp rough or go hardcore hiking. Started the Stranger Things audio too.

Finish His & Hers on audio
Finish Murder in Plain English in print
Finish The Woods Are Always Watching in Edelweiss
Start Stranger Things: Suspicious Minds on audio
and read at least one graphic novel on my TBR.
And comment on ya'll's posts!

I don't know how many goals I'll knock out today, I have to work a 12 hour shift today (boo!) but I'll try!

Haven‘t read a single word in almost 2 days now. Anytime my hubby gets sick he always passes it on to me. I feel like death. Plus, the “fun” part of getting chronic nosebleeds is that every 5 or 6 times you blow your nose you get a nosebleed. Longest shift ever.

On a positive note, today is my day off so hopefully I can get some sleep.

I enjoyed this gripping thriller and didn't figure out the ending at all! Told from the point of views from Anna a news presenter/reporter and Jack a police officer. They are ex husband and wife too. There are lots of secrets about the past and some dead bodies too. The chapters are short which makes the reading go faster, for me anyway.

Her: Anna Andrews is a BBC news presenter but just when she becomes comfortable, her job may be taken away.

His: Jack Harper is a detective called to the scene of a recent crime... one where he personally knows the victim.

His and Hers is basically a “whodunnit” story with a great (yet predictable) ending. Honestly the best parts were Anna‘s flashbacks to her childhood. Girls are nasty as teenagers!

Worth reading for a quick book.
