pickFinished books 1 & 2 in the Seaside Cafe Mystery series. Both are on my #readyourebooks list and book 1 is my August #DoubleSpin book.
The NC coast setting adds to its charm for me.
pickEverly moves back to her home town of Charm, NC, buys one of the town's historical oceanfront homes, and opens an iced tea shop in it. Mr. Paine is on a campaign to keep people from opening businesses in the historical homes. When his death is ruled foul play and it's determined he's been poisoned, it's suggested that Everly and her sweet tea are the culprits.

pickI totally enjoyed this first-in-series cozy mystery. I liked all the characters, especially the main character, Everly. I loved the coastal North Carolina setting. The mystery kept me guessing up until the end. I‘m looking forward to reading the next book in the series, and hoping that Everly‘s friendship with the new police detective, Grady, turns into something more!

pickThis is a promising start to a cute cozy mystery series. North Carolina beach town setting, a likeable main character who owns a charming tea shop by the beach, and nice pacing of the story..I enjoyed it all. Sweet teas/iced teas are not my top favourite beverage, but I learnt that American Southerners swear by their traditional sweet ice tea! I‘m happy to read the next book and am loving these cozy mysteries puns! 😁

bailedGreat title, shame I couldn‘t finish the book. Got to 20% and was so exasperated with it that I just gave up and skipped to the end and read the last 10%. Hey ho. My search for a new cozy crime series to glom continues.
pickA wonderful start to a new cozy mystery series. A prickly customer is found dead at Everly Swan‘s beach front tea shop. It‘s assumed her tea was poisoned. Swan is determined to prove her innocence and find the real killer. I can‘t wait to read the next book in the series. ☕️ 🏝 🐦 🐱🐚
