Last but not least, December! The tagged book would have been among my favorites no matter what month it was read, but for this month it was no contest.

Inner Harbor was a page turner, and I appreciated the local setting, but the story was OTT.

The two anthologies were disappointing. I‘d started both previously (should have been a clue?) and wanted to clear them out by year-end. Blanket Cats was my #bookspin choice.

No bookspin this month and no books read towards any challenges but at least I read. Favorite of the month was tagged title, a graphic novel about the Mitford Sisters.

I was pleasantly surprised with the short stories and articles in the tagged title and it was my favorite of the month. I dnf‘d Tom Hanks, too dense and boring and Fahrenheit was a reread.

As the year is winding down I‘m realizing I haven‘t made a post or kept up with any of my challenges. I need to bring my reading focus back so I‘m going to end the year strong with some catch up posting and start the new year with a clean slate! Here‘s what I read in October, King Of Ashes and Frankenstein were my favorites of the month.

Two favorites for November.
-Jimmy Perez returns in The Killing Stones
-John Fugelsang thoroughly lays out the case against Christian nationalism using biblical references and his unique form of humor. It may be “preaching to the choir” or it could be “teaching the choir how to sing.”
