September #wrapup

We relocated from Texas to Indiana this month so most of my reading in September was via audio. I also never created my #BookspinBingo board for the month. All of the books I completed were picks!

Completed:
Audio - 5
Graphic Novel - 1
Print - 1

Tell Me This Ends Well was my July #Bookspin and I have decided to DNF as I‘m not that interested.
The Bromance Book Club was my #Bookspin for September.

TheAromaofBooks Great progress!!! That's a big move!! We're Midwest neighbors now - I'm in Ohio!! 5d
Bookzombie @TheAromaofBooks Thanks! For some reason, I thought you were in Michigan. It was a big move! 5d
TheAromaofBooks I've moved several times but never very far. I can't imagine the logistics of getting everything several states away!! 4d
Bookzombie @TheAromaofBooks It was a lot and we were nervous about our stuff never arriving, but that all went pretty smoothly. We drove our cars ourselves, also loaded down. 4d

My September #WrapUp

📚 7 books - my monthly average this year

🌟I really liked Jennette McCurdy's memoir, it's so raw.
⭐Favourite Fiction goes to Black Eyed Susans.
👎🏻And maybe an unpopular opinion, but I really disliked Bridget Jonen's Dairy

Sometimes it was an adventure, but I made it to Gladstone‘s Library!

After I stuff my face with fish n chips, I‘m probably going straight to bed. I think I‘ll be able to sleep on this quite firm mattress. In any case, I probably won‘t finish any more books for September.

Nothing I read this month is going to be a favorite for the year, but the tagged book was my favorite for the month. More thoughts in comments.

Susanita At times the author is a “bit much,” but I think this was the older-woman memoir/story I was looking for earlier this year. 6d

Pickpick

An excellent sci-fi about gene editing & its consequences. I am surprised to see the true facts & research behind this fiction. I am a biochemist researcher so I loved it more than his other books 😻 it‘s a real treat & one of my fav reads from 2022.I like d way author narrates family life & emotions. Not only thrilling, but also thought-provoking. A solid 5🌟#bookspinbingo #wrapup #August

August #WrapUp

My reading is definitely hampered by my work load.
Some evenings when I get home I'm so tired that I don't even feel like reading.

But my favourite foe this month was Deaver with Coffin Dancer, looking forward to read the entire series.

I won‘t get to finish anything else today, so I‘m calling it for the month. Two very different books were the standout selections. #wrapup

A late #wrapup to #awesomeaugust

I‘d wanted w#to finish three books, and I finished two. I also read several chapters of books that are are still in progress.
