#Roll100 #96 I gave this a pick because the stories were fun and a nice diversion. However, I'm a little disappointed because I expected a book with a bonus story but essentially got two novellas. Oh well, off my list! @PuddleJumper

Trying to work on my #TBR this year. I think #Roll100 will be a big help. My first three books are the tagged one, Educated, and Bombshells. Good variety for me. Looking forward to upcoming rolls @PuddleJumper

Just finished listening to this audiobook on the Libby app. I‘ve lost track of how many times I‘ve listened to it - at least 3 or 4. It‘s quite short - about 6 hours and is a prequel to a series of historical romances. When life is stressful I find it relaxing to listen to a familiar story. It‘s fun to be there at the beginning of the relationship and experience some gentle bumps along the way - alway certain of a HEA.

robinb She‘s a master in historical romance. ❤️ 2y
Susanita That cover! 2y
Dragon Agreed @robinb I especially like this series (edited) 2y

Dragon @robinb I love her Wildes of Lindow Castle series. My favourite is Too Wilde to Wed because it‘s so funny and sweet ( and hot 🥵) 2y
Dragon My favourite of the series 2y
robinb I think I‘ve only read the first in that series, but I own this one. I‘ll look forward to it! 2y

Finished this up tonight. A bit melancholy at times which wasn‘t the mood I wanted but glad to be finished. I‘m hoping to get a bingo by the weekend! #bookspinbingo

This prequel novella to the Wilde series is a fun quick read. Hugo and Ophelia‘s fast courtship had me smiling throughout. Lady Knowe is a blast, as usual, and the kids are endearing. As with the other books in the series, the members of the household staff are acknowledged and respected. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

5💖 for the Wilde's story, 3.5 for the additional story.

We've long wanted to see how the Wildes became such a strong blended family, and this story was just delightful. Everything I was hoping for, except that it was over too quickly!

I was going with this until it kept coming back around to “You‘re better in bed than my dead wife” and “my dead husband never made me feel like this”. Oh and the actual book finishes at 61% and the rest is a teaser for another book and a previously available novella from another series of hers. Disappointing.

I enjoyed this prequel to the Wildes of Lindow Castle series. We see how the Duke and Ophelia meet as well as the children at a younger age. The book also includes and unrelated novella that is sort of a riff on fairy tales which I thought was fun.

It's new Eloisa James day! I don't usually care for prequels, but I'll read anything she writes because I haven't met a James book I haven't enjoyed.

AutumnRLS Not happy with the way this was marketed. This is not a full length romance. It is a novella with a longish short story tacked on to the back. Not knowing this, the pacing was totally off for me. There were also some continuity issues midway through. Could have used another pass by an editor. I still enjoyed the actual writing quite a bit. It just feels like her publisher failed her on this one. 3y
