So because of the #netgalleyreadathon I only have 37 more books on my list!! Yay!!! (This is huge for me by the way, a lot of them I just needed to review though but I got some good reading done too). Yay!!!
The Red Daughter is a novel about the daughter of Joseph Stalin. It is written as a collection of journal entries. I must say I was drawn in from the first page. I enjoyed reading a book from the perspective of Joseph Stalin's daughter and what life may have been like for her as well as her feelings. I highly recommend this book.
I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy for free. This is my honest opinion.
Ohh Neat on the website I can get the entire picture of the book!!! I love the website!! I wish they had these features for the app on android! (I assume they have them already for iphone??) Fun!!
So, I wasn't really sure what to make of this book. It was interesting reading a book from the perspective of the Fascist party as I've never read a WWII book from that perspective before. However, I did find it a bit slow at times and disliked most of the characters. Overall, it was an okay read.
I would like to thank netgalley and the publisher for providing me with a copy free of charge. This is my honest and unbiased opinion of it.
I could use some uplifting...... my grandma just passed away today so I'm distracting myself by looking at books.....
I have a question for #netgalley users... the other day I was on netgalley and it said instead of "your shelf" it said "your nut stash". Now its back to normal. Did anyone else notice this or am I seeing things??
I just realized there is a share button on posts is this new? I just wish there was an option to share the post within Litsy.
