vivastory I have 3 answers, all mystery/ thrillers: I'd love another book by JoAnn Chaney featuring her detectives that were featured in “What You Don't Know.“ I read this 7 years ago & still think about it from time to time. I would also like a follow-up to SA Cosby's “Blacktop Wasteland.“ This remains my favorite of his & I know that he has mentioned in passing returning to the characters in the future. Finally, I would like a sequel to David Heska (CONT) 1d

My penpals know my struggle with this audiobook. It is likely the most boring book I‘ve ever finished. However, it was great at one important thing: putting me to sleep! The author would have benefited from a more skillful editor to reduce repetition. I felt like I was in an eternal circle of hell hearing the same anecdotes about Charlemagne for 30 hours. Read at your own peril! 👑

This is my IRL Bookclub pick,and I am glad that it was also on my TBR shelves! First of all,I did not notice the digital clocks on the cover until I took a picture! It is a clever part of the design that my brain had not registered! It is such a popular book that I was expecting more. As many of you,I love any library references,and liked the thread of returning to the library. How do we handle regret and choosing again were the prevalent themes.

I was trying to take this slow so I could savor it and completely failed! This is a graphic novel written from the perspective of a mama polar bear teaching her two cubs how to be polar bears. The result is a hugely entertaining, witty, adorable, and educational work of art. Not just for kids - I learned a lot!
