Avanders I've inquired too and have heard nothing. The 2 mentioned by Chelleo, above, are closed... As, I believe, is @cwarnier 's #christmasswap. But I nonetheless expect at least 1 more to crop up. Unfortunately, I believe #ssgp is *not* going forward this year. 😕 (edited) 5y

Avanders (FYI: #ssgp is Secret Santa Goes Postal, Which is the one that BookishMarginalia ran for a couple years & everyone's asking about. She was in Puerto Rico when Hurricane Maria hit and, although they have since moved to Florida, they are still recovering from all that happened. Gloria hasn't run ssgp since Maria -- MrBook, BookBabe, and I ran it last year on her behalf, but I think it may not be until next year that we see it again) 5y

I'm thinking of doing an early-December-open stocking swap.. (December 6th, to be precise). Due to the early open, though, the timing would mean only in-country matches (ie no international shipping), and a pretty quick turnaround on sign ups... What do you think? Any Interest?

Avanders @LapReader @oOArankaOo right, Aranka's got it -- it's "in-country" as in, as long as 2+ people sign up from your own country, then you can be matched. I.e., 2 from Netherlands, great! 2 from Australia, word. If only one signs up, though, I won't be able to match. 6y

TheBookKeepers Nice I love gifting but also love being thrifty so min $ always scare me off! Being a stuffed stocking type I think non book goodies should be included, maybe a lower minimum of 1 book & 1 goodie would be more appealing & budget friendly! (Tho there‘s a good chance I‘ll prolly still go over 😂). Also would we be required to include a stocking? I think that‘d be cute to literally stuff a stocking. (edited) 6y

Yes, I thought a stocking would be required...... but it could be any kind of stocking ... a full size, mini, a real sock of some Christmas variety (or even the pair 😜). Or to help w budget-conscious folks, maybe even a drawing or story about a stocking... somehow to include it. 🤗🤗 6y
