pickOseman is usually reduced to Heartstopper and Loveless. So I was very delighted to find that little gem in the authors repertoire. It's such a moving and touching story, and I especially appreciate that it's about friendship, not romance. Aces know how underrated friendship in most of our society is, so it does need books like that.

pickLove, love, love. 🥰🥰🥰 This is such a heart-warming coming of age and coming out story. The characters and their relationships are so well written. They're imperfect, but they're growing. I learned a lot about aromanticism and asexuality. And I loved the emphasis on types of love that aren't romantic love. Just a lovely read.

pickAngel travels down to London to stay for a week with her online friend Juliet, the climax of the trip being to see their favourite boy band, The Ark, perform.
Told alternatively from the viewpoints of Angel and Jimmy, The Ark's lead singer, this was a quick read exploring the nature of fandoms and fanfics and the pressures on their recipients of such adoration.
