Check in time for this month‘s #LiteraryCrew #BuddyRead ! I‘ve seen some completed reads already…I do love their books!
Don‘t forget that discussion questions will be posted on May 31st!
I know this was supposed to last the month but I started it a little early and then the characters just wouldn‘t let me go! So much emotion! I giggled a couple of times and yes, needed Kleenex more than once. These three authors are auto buys for me and they delivered once again. I‘m looking forward to the discussion! #Literarycrew #buddyread @Librarybelle

Misty! I'm really looking forward to reading this! I love Beatriz Williams and Lauren Willig, and the other book I've read by all three was really good, so I know this one is going to be good! Thank you so much!! @Alwaysbeenaloverofbooks
This audiobook was amazing!! We get to view Paris and the Ritz through the lives of 3 enigmatic and inspiring women, one during WWI, one during WWII, and one in the 60s. They are tied together by threads that it takes a while to see but, once you do, you feel for these characters and admire them even more than you already did. I would love to have gotten an authors note detailing what might be real! Touching and beautiful story! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My 2020 Christmas books 🥰 2021 is going to start out with some great reads!!
This book follows three women in 3 different time periods, World War I, World War II, and the 1960s, all connected by a famous talisman and their distinct bravery, courage, and hope. I loved the depth of the characters, trying to unravel the mysteries between their connections, and the ways they impacted others through their kindness.
I totally forgot to say this!! Part of this book is set in Picardie France. My maiden name is Pickard - this is where my ancestors came from. Also, book lovers - lots of reference to books and a bookstore in this story. 🇫🇷📖📚
I had a hard time getting into this. But I think that was me - busy with work and other things on my mind. Once I got past that I enjoyed this immensely! I love the collaboration of these 3 authors. Together or on their own - they never disappoint.
We‘re at the beach. I always think I‘m going to get a lot of reading done but I‘ve been too busy looking for treasures. And we took a break to move our youngest into college. 💙🦁🤍
No!! Not ready at all. August still holds so much activity for us. We have - family dinner, funeral, vacation, move youngest into college, my birthday!! And summer goes 3 weeks into September. It‘s really my favorite time of year.
Tagged - I‘m enjoying it.

Their books always start so slow for me. This one was the same. But I liked the turns the book started to take, if not as engrossed by the romances. Which is very unlike me.
Team W has done it again! I really enjoyed this multi-generational tale set in France during WWI, WWII, and the 1960s. and filled with strong women, a mystery to keep you reading, and sweeping family sagas. The transitions between writers were so seamless, I could never tell when one author stopped and another started. This story will truly transport you.
I was given this book by the publisher and Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
Book #4 since social distancing. Not mad about trading in Happy Hour for some extra reading time though. I‘ve been on a historical fiction kick lately. The Nightingale is on my TBR list book I‘m looking for any other recommendations!
Three strong women characters, three eloquent women authors, an intricately woven story and a magnificent hotel. What could be better? The writing was superb and the story was mesmerizing. https://www.bluestockingreviews.com/post/all-the-ways-we-said-goodbye
I say, I think the title of my book is rather ironic for those who celebrate Valentines Day 🥰
Only half way through listening to this new release audio. I've always been a fan of Beatriz Williams and Karen White-and they are not disappointing me with this historical novel that intertwines the two world wars that take place in France, in particular focused around The Ritz❤️

Happy Thursday!!🧚♀️
I read the previous collaborative book and remember enjoying it. This one was good, but not as good as I had hoped. It weaves together the story of a Aurelie from 1914, Daisy from 1942 and Babs from 1964. Babs goes to Paris to discover the secret of her husband's past. He came home after spending time as a POW, but she know he left his heart with la Fleur. The book cycles through the womens lives and how they are connected. Recommend
As is usual for collaborations by these three authors, I found this book to be enjoyable to read, but it's not particularly deep. I enjoyed the characters, and I especially like the connections to other books by these authors (but this book stands on its own), but I think that alternating between three characters/timelines thins the story out too much and makes it difficult to keep characters straight.

Review is up on my blog. Check it out! https://reecaspieces.com/2020/01/12/all-the-ways-we-said-good-bye-by-beatriz-wil...
Three women, three different time periods, three different situations, but they all find the Ritz of Paris to be their comfort zone.
The 3W's did it again!! ALL THE WAYS WE SAID GOODBYE is another marvelous, well-researched, difficult-to-put-down tale.

My most #anticipatedreadsof2020 #auldlangreads . But really I‘m excited for every book and I love that the various challenges I‘m in encourages me to go out of my comfort zone. I highly encourage you to check out a genre different than you normally read. Two years ago a challenge had me pick up historical fiction and now it‘s one of my favorite genres
While I perused the bookstore today, Anthony and Owen made a new friend. The bookstore cat, Dina, loved Anthony and was sad to see us go. I got the tagged book and several others- I‘ll take a pic of my haul tomorrow.
3.5 ⭐️ for my last book of 2019. #ARC #goodreadsgiveawaywinner - I enjoyed the book very much but found that it took me a little longer to read than I would‘ve liked. Part of that was the 3 separate storylines being alternated. I would lose track of what was going on and have to go back and refresh my memory. I also felt that one of the characters didn‘t get the closure it need.

Pick! I love historical fiction from these 3 authors.
The story follows the lives of three women in Paris in different time periods: WWI, WWII, and the 1960s. Their stories are all connected, and reading as the relationships among these women unfold makes for a great story.
Many thanks to Edelweiss for the advance copy.
So happy to get this ARC!
I love it when these three authors collaborate! Can‘t wait to dig in!
