Another disappointment that I probably should‘ve bailed on. I read over half last night, but left off at an interesting point, so I decided to read on. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I love this list of activities for the #CYOReadathon this weekend. After this last read if finished off the following activities: 2,5,9,10,14,15,19,20,22,23. That currently makes me a Giant Tortoise 🐢

This book was so intense and such a thrill. Honestly I've never known a book to keep me on the edge of my seat for so long, the main character was so good, and down to earth, and the whole concept of the story about a dare app is so modern and sort of realistic. I watched the move after with no regrets, and ad much as it is so different, the casting was spot on, other than a few differences like hair colour.
Totally reccomend.

I have seen the movie twice now, and since reading this, I actually like the movie better. There were parts I liked in the book, however, I didn‘t expect Tommy to do what he did to Vee towards the end, but he did. Ian and Vee forever!

Finished Nerve last night! It was good but I found there were a few parts that went by slowly.

The book Nerve is very different from the movie but I find the book still draws me in and makes me want to read more.

While on my trip to the mountains in Italy, I read Nerve by Jeanne Ryan. I was surprised by how different the book to the movie adaptation was!
Both were equally good though.
What was one book to movie adaptation that was completely different from the original concept?

Where do I even begin to describe how bad this was??? The execution of a stupid storyline? The writing itself? Or perhaps how I feel the author took decades of writers creating strong, smart, capable female characters and threw all that progress in the trash.

Confession: I watched the movie before reading the book. After reading it, I wondered if it was the same story.

This books was really good. The only thing, is that I did see the movie first becuase I couldn't get my hands on this book and they so different from each other.

Ugh. I'm hating this book so much but I have to get through it for the summer library program. That's how dedicated I am.

A great concept but poor execution. I thought this would would be a really tense read but really it was a lacklustre story with grating characters and an underwhelming end. A shame but never mind. Someone should make a horror version.

I loved this book! I finished it on a car ride home from Warped Tour and let me just say...amazing. I loved the action, drama, and plot twists! My only problem was the ending. It took me a few days to figure it out! Definitely worth checking this book out. #yabooks #drama #plottwists #mustread

Hmm... I'm not sure how to describe my feelings about this book. It was interesting, and I found the plot engaging, but I never got the twist I was expecting. I think there are a lot of things she could have done to strengthen the plot and her writing that would have easily made this a pick for me. Overall, I enjoyed it, but I don't think that I would read it again.

Not the best...but a good storyline

I had really high hopes for this book but it didn't please me. I found Vee very annoying as well as Sydney. Until Vee finally learned some common sense, I couldn't stand her. And, by the way, I don't care that she's a Capricorn. She mentioned it so many times during that book. I might be into astrology and stuff, but I don't need a reminder that Vee is a Capricorn every few chapters.
