This was so fun! I‘m definitely going to pick up more, especially since they‘re on Kindle Unlimited.

I also read the first two iZombie volumes! I got way more pulled in than I expected! Another series I‘m gonna have to finish.

Fur-Fur, unholy stag of DOOM 🤣🤣🤣

This issue was an Edward Spellman origin story.
I‘m sad there is only one more issue as there‘s a lot more they could have done with this series!

16 points for a themed #TeamHarkness read
And another one down for #CYOReadathon and #Screamathon

I am already past the hour goal for the day (I started some of obsidian this morning) so I am having a very productive reading day!

Salem‘s origin story. To be fair, all the familiars were not very nice people. But so many years as animals as punishment seems a little much!

Last one of the night. Another 16 points for #TeamHarkness :)
And an hour of reading completed for #CYOReadathon and #Screamathon, so an extra 20 points too for #Scarathlon2020!

My total for the day: 69 points
Total points: 95 points

Addison_Reads Great job! 🎉 3y
alisiakae Maybe this year I‘ll actually read this series. It goes on my TBR every October! 👻 3y

I didn‘t want to start a new novel before bed, so I can start fresh for October readathons! And I have 4 hours left on my audiobook which is too long. So I have started Sabrina on prime reads.

Volume 1 was interesting! I can‘t help but compare to the Netflix series since I have seen most of that (still working on the latest series) and both are definitely uniquely weird! I am interested in what will happen in future issues 🧙🏻‍♀️

I love this Sabrina so much. Hilda and Zelda are their best versions. Madam Satan is perfect. Harvey at his personal worst. The art truly captures Massachusetts witchy vibe I love this so much 💖🕷

#7 doesn‘t really pick up from #5 either but instead gives the backstory for Edward Spellman. The comic series is so different from the TV show if you like the show I‘d definitely check out the comics.

Comic #6 doesn‘t pick up from comic 5 but instead it tells how both Ambrose‘s cobras 🐍 and Sabrina‘s cat, Salem, became familiars. I really enjoyed this one! This is free right now on Kindle Unlimited.

This was... ok. I guess I liked what for me was a new take on Sabrina, but I wasn't overly struck by the artwork nor the story.
In volume 1, we learn about Sabrina's family, and how she came to live with her aunts. It's a whole bunch darker than the goofy show you remember from your childhood, that's for sure!
I'd probably pick up the following volumes, but they probably won't be the first thing I pick off the shelf.

BethM Yeah I agree with @Soubhiville it‘ll only get worse. You‘ll be able to rein it in for awhile and then lose control again. It‘s the Litsy cycle lol. 5y

Linear At least it's not drugs. 5y
wildwoodreads @Linear I tell my fiancé that all the time! ??? 5y
wildwoodreads @Soubhiville @BethM I definitely need to start going to the library because my stack of unread books is getting out of hand. 😂 5y
wildwoodreads @MrBook That‘s my thoughts as well. I‘m sad about the money until the book actually comes in. It‘s really a problem. 😂 5y
RadicalReader @megzlynn going to the library is how I tame my addiction all the books I can devour for free and wonderful movies for when the books transform into movies or tv show for me to then binge after the book 5y
Suet624 I‘m with @RadicalReader. I save a ton of money thanks to my local libraries. 5y
RadicalReader @Suet624 thank you I do love all the amazing wonderful new and best seller novels that are right there when you walk into the library as addictive and entertaining as the clearance sections of stores plus how they have the wonderful combination of audiobooks, movies, books and CDs there is literally everything one could want to enjoy for free 5y
Suet624 @RadicalReader I‘m so very fortunate because all the small towns around me have libraries, so I have 5 library cards and an abundance of book and movie options. It‘s wonderful to meet someone who loves their library as much as I do! 5y
RadicalReader @Suet624 you‘re definitely living in book paradise to live near five libraries!! I do love how most libraries allow their “ sister libraries which are libraries that are in the same district” to loan out their materials so that you can get books or movies sent from other libraries right to yours such a life saver 5y

1. It doesn't need a caption, but my sweet Agnes is too lovely to not take advantage of a chance to share her! 😍
2. My bed. Ha!
3. I made vegetarian taco soup!
4. Currently it's watching Chilling Adventures of Sabrina on Netflix. I really want to read the comic!
5. I refuse to go to shops during those mad days. But I did handle all my stuff online then.

I wasn‘t a huge fan of CAOS Vol. 1, but I‘ve been enjoying the new Netflix adaptation and decided to give the comic series another chance. installment 6 is all about how Salem and Ambrose‘s snakes became familiars. pretty good stuff!

Burghbookaddict My only complaint about the show is that there's not enough Salem 🐱 5y

Super fun pre-Halloween read!

Reading this comic series in preparation to watch the Netflix special. Paper issues are ~6 dollars each and weren‘t available at my local library, but if you‘re willing to read them digitally they‘re available free on Amazon as Prime Reads and Kindle Unlimited books, or to purchase for .99 cents each.

What a great series up to this point. I can‘t believe how fast I devoured them.

The artwork is amazing and creepy. Sabrina doesn‘t realize her dad is back but I don‘t want to say more and give a huge spoiler.

I need issue #9 now butt apparently there is no release date.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

kyraleseberg I'm so bummed because they moved the release date of volume 2 twice then removed it completely ☹️ I guess everything is being pushed back to coincide more with the show possibly? 5y

In this issue you get Sabrina‘s father, Edward Spellman, backstory starting when he was a young boy.

This issue was fantastically creepy and gave more to the story as a whole.
