I‘m a bit behind and backwards on my posting for #WinterGames. I haven‘t even posted my November wrap up yet 🫣 Skipping Christmas was my 2nd book of December and I watched the #ReindeerGamers team movie tonight. I think this was one of the cases where the movie was better but it was just ok. Go away Blair! Jk kinda 😂

I chose to read this one because I've been wanting to skip Xmas myself. This reads like it was written in the 80s, complete with the stereotypical male author writing women and it was icky all the way through.

This book is kind of like an extended twisty version of the gifts of the magi. It was way frustrating to get through and took me way to long to listen to it all. Partly because the narrator was super slow, even after 1.25 speed.

I read this one every year! Luther is a major jerk in the book lol he‘s easier to like in the movie.

It‘s freezing out and I didn‘t want to leave the house, but I need to go to the dry cleaners, so I treated myself to Panera. Actually, Panera treated me lol I earned a free oatmeal, and I‘m a member is the sip club so breakfast was free. I‘m #winning already 🤣

Not my typical book, but this was chosen for IRL club as “Christmas in July”. Didn‘t know at first that the movie Christmas with the Kranks is based on this & will watch it during the season. A funny story about a couple who decides to take a cruise instead of doing Christmas. They mystify & anger their neighbors & friends. A twist at the end changes their mind. I‘m very glad my neighbors don‘t expect me to put a giant Frosty on the roof!
