I enjoyed the first of this series but I couldn‘t get onto this one. It was more assault heavy than I remembered the first one being. I highly doubt that I will try to finish this at a later date. #DNF #NotForMe

Finished this #ThematicCozies @JulieClaire the other day (I had it on Kindle, so it was easy to pick up wherever). Anyway, it was okay - I wasn't super interested in any of the characters. I don't see myself reading more of this cozy series. Just a #NotForMe character group.

So this one was “okay” just really was a #NotForMe type of book, maybe if I did audio I might have liked the accents or get more of the drama - or I don‘t know, I did like the MC eventually standing up for herself but felt like it took too long for it. Looking forward to the #RiseUpReads discussion

This was a decent book, but --- It was a #NotForMe type of book. I can see why people loved it, but I found it pretty predictable and sappy, which - I guess it's the type of book it was supposed to be. Oh well.

This was a #NotForMe book. I usually like animals talking and their antics, but this time I don't know. I guess maybe because it wasn't “book 1“ that I didn't get too into it? Oh well. #ThematicCozies @JulieClair

Finished this month's #ThematicCozies @JulieClair Most cozies have some romantic element, and when I googled this (romance + cozy mystery) it came up, but ... it wasn't super romantic-y. Compared to others I have loved! Oh well. The book itself was a bit obnoxious, but it might have been geared to a younger audience into influencers - a #NotForMe pick.

I would have DNF'd this book but I got Reading Goals to achieve and this was a relatively short book.
A wildly pretentious and dull one at that.
