Very good. This story takes you on journey that is full of twists and turns. Even though you might think that you have worked out who has done it you will be surprised by the end. It also deals with the question of what love truly is and what you would do for it. Thank you #MichaelJoseph/#Penguin for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.

Good. Nice charming story about the power of reading especially during your childhood, loved the references to many wonderful children books. Sometimes the cast of characters got confusing. Also portrays the nostalgia of small village community in the 1950's.

Very good. Love how this author can make you keep you on the edge of your seat as you have to keep turning the pages as the story grips you from page 1. This is a story of secrets and revenge but also a sweet story about how friendship can form with the most different of people.

Good. Full of old Hollywood glamour as it is set against the golden age of Hollywood in the 1940's and 50's. It is about how a young woman navigates growing up in this environment and how her life will become shaped by it.

Good. Set in the cold War in America it is a rollercoaster of book as it is full of subterfuge and spies with a spot of romance. Also it questions the morality of the atomic bomb and its effect on people who made it. Thank you Penquin Random House for inviting me to read this via Netgalley.

Very good. Interesting take on French Revolution, makes points that are fresh and different. Very well written and detailed so a prior knowledge of this subject is needed when reading this. Also adds little comedic elements to ease the tension of the horrific subject throughout the writing but it isn't off-putting as it is needed and can add to the story.

Good. Enjoyed reading about the journey all these girls take from childhood to adulthood. This book is an emotional roller-coaster as it goes through all the times and experiences we all have had.

Good. An excellent atmospheric book that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as it builds to mounting crescendo which will leave speechless. This book also makes you question what you would do in the situation faced by one of the main characters and will have you asking other people about what they would do.Trigger warning: Abortion is a major theme in this book.
Thank you #Netgalley for the proof copy.

Good. Interesting concept about how technology is taking over our lifes and how we choose to embrace it. Shows how it can be used for good or bad and how it can completely take over and it questions whether that is negative or positive.

(I appreciate the irony of this as a couple of years ago I didn't have Litsy and review online like I do now.)

Very good. Continues the story of his successful career. This focuses on his rise to fame. Feels like he talking to you rather than writing a story as his turn of phrase is so informal and that is what makes it such a wonderful book.
