Good. Interesting characters and concept, even though I had guessed one of the main reveals long before it was revealed other revelations were surprising and kept me hooked till the very end. Thank you @Caroline2 for giving me this book for my birthday.

Caroline2 Glad you liked it. It makes you think about old people homes in a different light doesn‘t it. 😟 2d
Birdsong28 @Caroline2 It does and it makes you realise that everyone in them has got a past and that some of them are interesting and should be listened to 📚📖 2d

Good. Even though at times the writing was a bit disjointed and confusing at times it was still a good story based on real people. Thank you #HarperCollinsPublishers for inviting me to read this via #Netgalley.

Good. This story centres round a school romance that went wrong but as they get older they realise that it was meant to be. Interesting characters and not a cosy romance as the cover suggests as it deals with subjects such as sexual abuse and it's after effects. Recommend.

Good. An interesting selection of short stories all discussing the relationships between men and women especially those who are married and what happens in that marriage.

Trigger warning: the chapter The Magic Box has scenes of self harm.

Spies and blackmail, revenge, a scandalous red dress and an even more scandalous mechanical chair make this funny and steamy story a delight to read. I enjoyed it very much. Medium Steam. Very good. An amazing end to an amazing series. I laughed, cried and everything in-between as there were some cliffhanger moments. Highly recommended if you have read the others in the series.

I will miss this series as Angela feels like an old friend and with each book I get to see how she is doing. I know I can re-read the series but half of what I have enjoyed is the wait to see what she is going to be up to next.

Good. Enjoyed how it promises to be a light hearted read about the dancing girls of the 1920's but then deals with darker issues. Recommend.

Very good. Enjoyed this story as it shows a different side to a well known story as the main character is connected through her Grandmother to the sisters who were pictured with The Cottingley Fairies in 1917. Using original sources as research for this book as she interviewed Francis's daughter, it shows as it is written well.

Good. Enjoyed the entertaining look through a year in the life of a family. Laughed out loud at most of it as I have seen it all happen to friends and family and can relate even though I don't have children myself. Recommend to everyone.
